No doors yet. I will call them Monday to check on status. Hopefully it will be soon. It's getting annoying.
My wife's grandpa had a phone like that. When my father in law passed, it went to our nephew. He is living on the farm, so we felt it was best back there. It had been restored.

I'm moving slowly on covering the sides. Hopefully this weekend I will make some good progress. I need to replace all 4 sets of brake pads on my daughters car to pass inspection. Doors sure would have been nice for that work.

To keep the them of thread hijacking. My son trapped 3 hawks and 2 owls at the St. Louis airport. Well his co-workers did the trapping. He was tasked with releasing them at least 60 miles from the airport. So we released them in our back yard. Very cool.
Snowy owls are not that common this far south.
You can see the corner of my shop in one picture. The inside picture is not my shop.

Here is a video of the snowy owl release.

Really cool Joe, no pun intended. I'll bet you're rethinking the heater in the building. I knowI am.

Joe,
The wife loved the owls! Awesome that you released them near your place too.
Not sure of your temps but I am sure glad I have the doors on my shop! The west wind was still buffeting and blowing in around them all day. Its a lot better in my shop than last year when the doors were up but did not have any heat. Costing some dollars to heat the place but sure is nice to work in there!
Good luck with your shop build.
Regards,
Chris

It got up to 30 degrees today. The last couple of days it's been very cold and windy. I haven't used any heat so far. But when I work on my daughters car tomorrow, I'm bringing it out. Although it is supposed to get up to 50 degrees tomorrow.
the tarps keep some of the wind out, but the other day I couldn't take my gloves off for very long.

I won't think about heat until I get the doors on and paneling up. then I have to move more stuff in and organize.

Very interesting about the hawks and owls
here is a pic of a Cooper's hawk that was injured from another hawk. The school called me and I went and picked him up ( they already had him covered in a laundry basket to keep the other hawk away)
I transported him to the Medina raptor center and they nursed him back to healt and released him later

To get this back on subject ive been thinking of putting an owl nesting box at the top of the peak of my shop

and here is a pic of my wood duck nesting house with a screech owl inside

Well, I'm making some slow progress. I'm more in a waiting game at the moment. My garage doors are in, but they are trying to locate springs for the doors. Hopefully they will find those quickly.
The walls are up except for a couple of places that might need more wiring. I'm starting to organize things a bit. I have a lot more stuff to bring over. I want to keep as much floor space open as possible....yeah famous last words.
I'm pondering putting about a 8X12 second floor over by the electrical box for more storage. We will see.
I like to hang extension cords and stuff up high, but with this steel frame it isn't as easy as hammering in a few nails. Gotta figure out how to manage that.

They make various clamps for mounting things onto steel beams. Here are just a few types:

It might not be obvious, but the back hole is threaded, the same as the bottom:
