It appears DPS now has a Heavy Duty actuator for the Turbonator. I have an email to them to ask what problem it solves.

Your welcome Chris, I hope it works out well for you for many years to come.

As for the fruit phone, I can recommend some great android replacements if you like, but you do what you feel is right for your use.

I hope their response is as detailed and informative as we are all hoping it will be. I see the video has only been online since the 12th of January. I looked through the DPP website and saw no mention of the HD actuator and performed a search with no good results displayed.

I did hear him mention "compound" turbo in the video, so perhaps the HD actuator is designed for "big" boost numbers.

I noticed that the HD actuator was present in their video for their Gen 3 Cmmins conversion.

Work smarter not harder is a strong ethos with you sir.

How did the IC fit with the A/C lines and other OTA heat exchanger brackets?

Very well as it turned out. The concerns I had expressed to you over text were unfounded.

Lol. Good explanation Carlos. The FCFS is right up there with blinker fluid. Incidentally, the 40/5 capacitor is exactly what my old household AC unit used to use. I revived it at least 4 times by replacing that capacitor before the compressor itself died.

So I found the video where I first caught sight of the new HD actuator. Fast forward to 3:08 in this video.

I thought you might like that. LOL . I just realized I misspelt (system) in my explanation. Boy, I really like your vgt. I'd love to put one on my truck. I'm sure It would probably cut way back, if not do away with the smoke I've got now. I hope that maybe they'll eventually make one for my sxe 472, but if not I could always put a 467/468 in it's place and bolt one on. We'll see how it all plays out.

Looks good Leonard. I'm curious of the notable differences between the new IC and the old 6.0L when similar conditions are observed.

I know the EGT drop in an OEM 7.3L system can be up to 200° when installing a large and well made IC like the Hypermax, but with your now removed 6.0L IC and the Turbonator mated to the SXE compressor, it will be interesting to see the results.

That’s because dry ice sublimates

Engineers and their fancy words...

Seriously though, I am hopeful for your efforts in squeezing that last bit of performance out of that engine of yours. You have gone through great lengths and you are the poster boy for PMS in my opinion. Hold that medal up high and proud sir!
