@wkf94025 Glad to hear everything went well! Nothing nicer than an effortless DMV experience.
On another note, my truck was running like junk and occasionally stumbling. Tried resetting the TPS, swapped IPR, etc. Nothing worked.
Changed the fuel filter and she runs like a raped ape. Fuel pressure gauge will be coming soon. I am going to work on adding a new post filter and making the pre pump filter looser.. The 2 micron filters I am running have been hit or miss. Dahl does make some 30 and 40 micron filters that would probably be better for the pre filtration.
All this free time on my hands before moving its hard not to mess with the truck.
I've wanted to do this for awhile, but I really want a new XL grill and bezels. For 5 dollars and some time it came out pretty good and should last me a year or two before it's faded and time to get a new grill.
You could always move your hvac down there and then you'd have room for a monster touchscreen media station
On the early 2000 911's a bunch of us did something similar: moved HVAC controls to the next DIN module below the upper two DIN modules, to fit a double DIN flight deck in the upper two slots. How the heck did we ever drive, navigate, and listen to music without a double DIN display???
I'm excited to get some real nasty T4 action going in the future. I'm definitely noticing higher EGTs and laggier response with the 1.15AR turbine and leaking up pipes.
Any real good way to test if the manifolds are leaking?
I am a techno geek, so decided to pull the trigger on this. Haven't put it to the test yet. I have an obvious leak on the aft end of the driver's side exhaust manifold. Once the manifolds are off, ground flat, and replaced with new gaskets, I hoping this will identify other issues in the system.
