That is correct. I used those and the Dieselsite 4R100 bypass adapters. Reason for that is the Dieselsite pieces are basically identical to the E4OD fittings you have for the stock lines. I didn't want to go through the hassle of adding the factory 4R100 bypass in at this point.

I had to tweak the solenoid heat shield a little bit for the return line, but other than that I used the same bracket up front to hold the front in place.

Have another dug-up question:

Saw where the radiator was swapped over from the IDI style to PS, but did not see much of a back-story. Anything specific which drove that decision?

And, aside from a degas bottle and different hoses, anything else notable to the swap?

I did it to make fitting the IC pipes easier, as well as set myself up for the IH waterpump down the road. I originally didn't want to cut up the rad brackets and fan shroud to fit the IC pipes. I ended up doing it anyway, though it didn't come out clean since it was still hooked up in the truck.

Changing out the weathered overflow bottle and hoses were on my to do list as well, so I figured I might as well swap everything to make it easier on myself in the future if I ever need a new radiator, I would think the newer style would be easier to source.

T4 is on hold. I was told not to drop 3k on my truck at Christmas by my wife.

Now I'm prepping to get the transmission dialed in with a tugger kit and a TC in the near future. Its probably better to get it dialed in first anyway.

At this rate with a move and changing jobs this year (separating from the USAF) the T4 is slowly moving towards the bottom of the list.

How do you like the PI torque converter? I want to get that one...

Fully understand the t4 getting put on hold.
The converter I have is a precision of new hampton, which is a $600 one sourced through cncfab, it seems to be a good unit, I would have like an actual fancy purple PI, but plan on a built trans at some point amd couldnt see putting that much into a 23yo stock trans.

I would be hesitant as well, even with a low mileage unit, so the Precision of NH makes sense.

BTS in the near future?

Good chance I will toss a Dieselsite 4r with a few extra billet parts in.

Let me know how you like that trans whenever you get around to it. I've heard good things about it, but haven't seen alot of feedback on FTE.

I believe DanV has one.
I have heard good on them as well. I am not opposed to a BTS or Wyse at all, but I know should something happen Dieselsite will get me a replacement, or parts in no time, anywhere in country. All of them are good choices, and I have time to decide, as I done spent all my truck funds for now :-)

Well looks like the stock selector valve took a crap. Truck stuttered a couple times to work and now it's pulling in air through the fuel bowl.

I noticed a few days back the gauge was acting weird when I moved to the front tank, and it hasn't moved at all driving on it for a week. I figured that the sending unit might be done, but now trying to switch back and forth the gauge doesn't move at all.

Looks like it's time to run on the rear tank for awhile until I throw 400 down on a new selector valve. More to follow when I get the truck back home and can dig into it.

Didn't have time today as it was pitch black when I got off work. If 5 gallons of fresh diesel doesn't make an improvement, that will probably be my next move.

I was just about to buy a toolbox too. There goes my box fund.
