How are you liking the new tires now that you've had them a day or so.
Did you have to adjust your speedo?
Haven't adjusted the speedo yet. Today was the first real drive with them, but I want to play around with the air pressure. I'm currently at 65 psi, and they feel more vague and seem to float a little more. However they are bigger and wider so I knew they weren't going to ride like the old crap Ironman 31s.
That being said they do ride much smoother and is much more pleasant overall. RPMs are down about 1-200 rpms from what I can tell. They seem quieter as well.
They feel vague at 65 psi? What are you wanting to try?
They're rated for 80 PSI cold, might try 70 PSI and see if it helps. though it's not bad as it is, I know I would really benefit from a rebuilt steering box and new borg steering shaft, new tie rod ends, etc. The list goes on. Again, everything I post is for the benefit of the readers.
Keep forgetting you have the TTB. Get some Dom tubing, a tap and some heim ends. That's an easy project.....lol says the guy who's projects are never as easy as they seem
Run the 285's @45psi if you are not hauling or towing you will thank me
Hmm I will have to give this a shot today and will post back.

Someone really should try the SXE 362.
I've thought about that sizing specifically, now that I'm living at 5k ft. I picked up a. 83 AR housing for the 68mm turbine, so it'll either be the 362 or 363. Leaning towards the 363 since the compressor on the 362 is really a 61.4 instead of a true 62mm.

Get a red head steering gear box. Worth every penny. I still had play in my steering after tie rods and drag link got replaced, so I threw in a red head and it’s night and day better. Now I just need that borg shaft and I’ll have brand new steering lol
