Sync 3.4 Version 20021 Update

I used the updater about a week ago and everything came out great. My initial concern was whether it would automatically pick up all of the camera programing. While actually running the updater my concerns then turned to the fact that it was showing me a mustang the entire time. When all was said and done, however, everything returned to normal after the final reboot. The only issue I've noticed since is the radio changing stations from one preset to another (in the middle of a drive) on its own. This has happened twice.

Just did the update yesterday, did it while on my daily errand route, so my truck wasn't just sitting there idling. Finished in about 30 minutes.

Just used the updater on my 2017. Had Sync 3.0.19xxx, and now rocking 3.4 20282. Worked like a charm, and only took about 25 minutes (USB3.0 Thumb Drive) and now I have updated Maps!!!!!!! I previously had the 1.15 map file, and there were so many missing roads.

It looks like some app may have a lock on the file. Maybe an anti-virus program on your PC, or maybe Windows Explorer itself? Try closing any app that looks like it may be accessing that file location and disabling any AntiVirus program temporarily.

About to pull the trigger on the CyanLabs download to upgrade my 2017 SCREW FX4 with 302A. It currently has Sync 3.0 and Nav vers: NA 1-15. I have a few questions before I do.

- The Ford Owners page says I can update to SYNC3 v3.0.20204. Anyone know what benefits or "upgrades" this has over the basic 3.0?
- Do I need to update to this new version to use the CyanLabs Updater?
- My current version does not show Climate Controls or heated seat controls on my screen; will v.3.4 add it?
- I read somewhere that there are people opting for v. 3.2 instead of v. 3.4. Why? What's the difference/advantage?
- Once installed it apparently sticks with the Mustang logo on the splash screen. Can this later be changed to the F150 or Lincoln options with Forscan or are you stuck with the Mustang?
- What's the best USB stick for the job? USB 3.0? What size? 16G? 32G?
