I went back and looked for where I had read that, but didn’t find it. Maybe I imagined it. I filled the plug with dielectric grease, I guess we will see what happens. On a boat trailer you don’t have much choice.
I did some looking too but I couldn't find it. As the cameras are normally mounted on the back of a trailer, they must be weather proof though.
If the back of my 5th wheel goes 3' underwater, I will have other problems that will probably be a lot worse though.
Is anybody else waiting for the 2020 trailer camera/TPMS kit? I'm kind of tired of waiting. The Ford parts departments don't seem to know anything about it. I'm tempted to just buy the "old" kit and modify the wire loom like others here have done. The only reason I'm hesitant is I wouldn't want to miss out if they've made any improvements to the camera or TPMS module on the new kit.

A couple of people have reported getting the 2020 kits but they only got 4 of the TPMS sensors. It appears that the TPMS receiver module and the camera are the same as the old kit, so the only difference appears to be the 3-way harness. There are part numbers reported on this thread if you want try your parts guy on those. I have already gone the Nichols route, so I don't need the new kit now.

Yeah, I sent the new part number to two Ford dealers and they both said that part isn't in their system. I'm just going to get the old kit and re-do the harness. I already ordered the larger valve stems from Nichols.

I have a 2020 F-350 with the ultimate camera kit, 5th wheel prep, etc. I did NOT order the 2020 trailer/TPMS kit with the truck. I DID order a 2017-2019 trailer camera/TPMS kit from a guy on eBay. It was in a sealed box. I also ordered the larger valve stems from Nichols and had them and the TPMS sensors installed in the trailer tires today. I then plugged the TPMS module into the harness and plugged the harness into the truck. So far so good. I did the same thing with my 2019 F-350 which also did not come with the trailer TPMS camera kit. I had to order that separately.
I then turned on the ignition expecting to see the trailer TPMS setup screen like I did with my 2019. NOPE. Nothing. Started the truck. Nothing. Unplugged and replugged in all the connectors. Nothing. Let air out of the trailer tires, rechecked everything ten more times. Started and stopped the truck over and over. Nothing.
So my truck isn't recognizing the TPMS module (the camera does work though FWIW). I thought others here had successfully used a 2017-19 TPMS module in their 2020 truck. What am I missing? I heard a few comments about the dealer needing to update the truck so it recognizes the TPMS module but I didn't have to do this with my 2019 so I don't know if this is true.
Any help would be seriously appreciated. I'm a desperate man...
Does the trailer tpms receiver box In the 17-19 kit you bought match the part number from the 20 kit. I posted a picture of the 20 camera and receiver above.

Yes, all the numbers on mine matched yours except the manufacture date.
This is from the 2020 Super Duty Pick-Up Order Guide dated 08/14/19 on page 24.
I hope this helps.
The sensors can be ordered separately.
So after a few emails with my Ordering Manager, Ford ended-up sending him two more TPMS units based on the documentation found throughout this thread (Ordering Guide Snippets). He said though Ford might be changing / updating this back to four total units. So some of us got lucky in getting six with persistence.
Did you try the trailer menu to look for the setup as opposed to it starting that process on its own?
I looked at the owner's manual and it shows this as what should be displayed for options under the towing tab:
Mine is missing "Trailer Tire Pressure". I looked at the FORscan spreadsheet and couldn't find anything that looked like this was something I could enable. My next step will be to call my Ford dealer to try to get the menu enabled. I suspect they will have no idea what I'm talking about.
I was browsing the brochure and saw trailer TPMS on all trims except the XT. I have an XT, the ultimate trailer package and 5th wheel prep. I assumed I would have trailer TPMS. Before I go aftermarket, I want to exhaust all options to have trailer tire pressure In the information display. Any XT owners have Trailer TPMS in the information display?
