I called my dealer this week to see if there was any hope of getting my camera/tpms for my f350 that I got at the beginning of March. The parts person did some digging and found an email from ford saying that they will be shipping them out mid-august. The dealer will distribute in order of purchase date. She estimated I would have mine by the second half of August. Really hope she’s right cause my trailer parking area has a challenging approach and it’s a pain getting my enclosed trailer into it.

just got my new 2020 F450 and it has the ultimate camera backup assist with it, but no camera-wiring-or TPMS. I am going to order just the wiring kit for the YAW (I dont know this acronym-please explain), TPMS and backup camera. Or if Nichols (please provide contact information) has a connector for just the camera i would order from him. I already have a camera for Camerasource.com and will be using it along with buying their wiring harness that will allow for the factory 4 cameras and the backup camera to be used while driving down the road. This is a great addition to any of the trucks if you tow a lot...you can see behind you going down the road!. links are below:

https://camera-source.com/catalog/pr...d/category/38/

or this combined kit

It's not an acrynom, it's one of the axis of rotation:

https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitch,_yaw,_and_roll

Yaw is the measure of rotation about the vertical axis, i.e. how much the trailer is turned.

Interesting. I thought it was based on a grid on the tongue and the camera in the tailgate. Good to know.

Both: grid is supplied for bumper pull trailers; yaw sensor supplied for gooseneck/5th wheels.

If you go back to post 157, some of us have gotten the parts, I installed the camera and the TPMS sensors on my boat trailer, along with the trailer assist sticker and it all works well.

I guess the question is has anyone received it recently? When I search for HC3Z-1A189-C a lot of the sites say discontinued. One of my local dealers says that it was replaced by another part number but the number they gave me is for TPMS only.

I’m still waiting. Received truck mid March. Seems like a different excuse every time I ask my salesman for an update.

I got my kit yesterday as well. 4 sensors not 6. For me that is ok because I only need 4 for the cargo trailer. The cable has the Yaw connector which I do not need for a bumper pull. Anyone want to trade the front camera cable with Yaw for one without Yaw?

Does anyone know the part number for the wire harness that would normally be installed when you order the ultimate tow camera package, but NOT the TPMS and trailer mounted camera. I'm considering ordering my 2021 F350 with the ultimate trailer tow pkg. but not the 5th wheel prep, so I want the harness that ties in to the factory wiring and mounts inside the box with the 7 & 12 pin connector.
