Morning Andy, Pat and those to follow.
Currently 49.6°. Looking at radar I'm taking a back up rain coat with me today. So far we have a high wind watch for Friday night through Saturday night.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 44.7, heavy overcast, but no rain at the moment. Had a rain squall pass over an hour or so ago. High wind warning in effect. Radar looks pretty nasty as does the sky...

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Got a little rain today, but the heavy stuff we were being warned about went somewhere else.
Tomorrow night and Saturday does not look like days that Poseidon is favoring to take the granddaughters and other family and the boat to Devils Lake!
Evergreen Air and Space Museum it is! If I counted correctly it will all be on our membership card so it will be cheaper anyway.

The NWS has upped the wind speed they think we will get....HIGH WIND WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE FRIDAY NIGHT
THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING...
* COASTAL WINDS...South 30 to 45 mph with gusts to 75 mph at the
beaches and headlands, and gusts to 65 mph in the coastal
communities.
* COAST RANGE WINDS...South 30 to 45 mph. Gusts to 70 mph on the
exposed ridges.
* TIMING...Windy from early Saturday through Saturday evening. The
strongest gusts occur from daybreak Saturday through early
afternoon at the coast. Strongest gusts may continue though the
early evening across the Coast Range.
* IMPACTS...Winds could damage trees and power lines. Local power
outages are possible. Travel may be difficult, especially for
high profile vehicles across coastal bridges.
I'm thinking we will stay home Saturday.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Overcast and dry here. They say the nasty stuff won't get here until Saturday around 0500, if then. Late night news started to back away from disaster and show a couple of other models where it turns just off of or right at the beach.
