Morning Andy, Pat and those to follow.
Pat from what I have been reading the weather system that moved through the Pacific Northwest this weekend will give you some more fun midweek.
Good soggy morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 39, wet, rain, although it has slowed down a bunch. Hitting the roof hard enough around 0445-0500 that it woke us up. 22 mph winds have backed off for the moment. Pineapple Express is in full swing!
Hard to say Pat. They are showing this coming up out of the SW Pacific and making a definite curve North into BC and Alberta. You'll probably catch the arctic turn around when the cold northern air mixes in and curves it back to the south.
On the other hand, I saw where lots of snow is getting dumped in the High Cascades and could cause some problems with a few of the ski resorts business models!
Apparently, it is interfering with their normal spring set up and activities related to when there is no snow on the slopes. I think most of them just close up and put all but maintenance crews on unemployment, but a few were making a big deal of it last night on the news. Jeesh, they are either unhappy that they have no snow, or they are unhappy that they have plenty of snow but at the wrong time of year?
