Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just go home with one of our granddaughter's. (The one that had the liver transplant) Got her meds taken care of on schedule. Now we are settling in to being up past bed time (grandpa discretion and advantage) and we are watching her new favorite movie of the day...the new Jumanji. I'm sure she has the lines memorized. Tomorrow will be the airplane and space ships with the some of the other granddaughters meeting us there at 0900.
Well, we will be outnumbered 6 v 2, but we are off to Evergreen Air and Space Museum. 4 granddaughters, 1 grandmother + 1 mom versus 1 grandfather and a father....
Morning all. I little breezy but not as bad as it could have been. I think we are headed to Salem for the junk show at the fairgrounds. Why we need to look at other peoples junk when we have plenty of our own is a mystery to me....
Belated good morning Jim, Roy and those to follow.
The winds have not gone the way the weather guessers thought, so they extended the warning to 10am tomorrow.
Morning Riverwild you slipped in while I was "typing".
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Survived the day, but we have one granddaughter passed out on the couch. Woke her up for dinner and all we got out of her was a groan and rolling over.
Tomorrow we are heading for the beach, Newport. May stop at my cousin's boat in Depot Bay, but I doubt we will have enough time. We want to go through the Aquarium, Hatfield if it's open and maybe try to squeeze in Yaquina Head.
Good soggy morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 45.2, 10 mph wind with gusts to 22 so far, 1/2" of rain. Radar looks terrible. Should be a good day at the beach!
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Made it home from the beach. Gale Force flags flying at Depot Bay and Newport. Made it to the Oregon Coast Aquarium, OSU Hatfield Marine Science Center and Yaquina Head. Missed all but a little misting type showers. Had some really heavy stuff hit when we were inside buildings or the car. Some of those windshield wipers on high and slow to 15 - 20 mph type rain storms.
Good evening Jim and those to follow.
Jim looks like all had a good time.
I didn't get done what I wanted to today, I didn't want to lay under the front of the pickup in the rain.
