Morning ford fans. Crazy few weeks and crazy isn't going to stop anytime soon. At least this is a long weekend and wife and I are headed out of town to do some glamping at Fort Steven's. Got a hankering for some Buoy Beer so we'll do that and take in some salt air.
Supposed to go in and pick up the camper we have left. They are supposed to have the warranty work done(bought it used, but it had a 1 year warranty). Was thinking about a short trip to check the water proofness and the furnace.
I was actually supposed to go in yesterday, but was waiting for them to call and tell me when the insurance investigator arrived. They never called. Par for the course.
We have two campers....O.K., now one. The Lance is totaled from fire, smoke and water damage. We also have a 2005 Alpenlite that we bought as an upgrade for us and replaced the Lance. The Alpenlite came with a 1 year warranty. We took it in for some warranty repairs and it is ready to be picked up. Alpenlite Limited has bigger tanks, 3' more length and a slider that makes a heck of a difference on room.
The Lance was on consignment. We all but had it sold for $9K which was to offset what we put out on the Alpenlite. I was going to go in yesterday to pickup the Alpenlite, warranty work is supposedly done, but was waiting for a phone call from them telling me the Insurance Investigator was there. They told me that the insurance company was sending an investigator down and 'she' was supposed to be there sometime yesterday afternoon. They were going to call me when she got there. They never called.
Safeco (the op4 insurance) has never contacted me, so I have to address that issue today. I tried on Wednesday, but the agent here couldn't do anything because she doesn't have access to policy's issued by another agent.
I'm getting very close to calling an attorney...
Well, at least you have the other one. Insurance companies are such a pain in the ***. Still fighting with ours over the hail damage we had last summer.
We dodge a quite bit off wildlife here, the fun ones to dodge are the Roosevelt Elk.

Jim - now I recognize the camper and the lot. We actually looked at you camper a few months ago as we were deciding what to do...bigger truck camper or trailer. Hope you get it worked out soon. Such a PITA!
893504x4 - yeah weather isn't very good until we leave. haha go figure. Wife has been working hard on her projects and needs to step away from them for a bit. She got her trailer and it's plenty big so if we have to dodge rain drops we'll be fine. Turns out a buddy of mine who lives up north will be staying across the road at KOA (we didn't plan it) so we're gonna hit up Buoy and Fort George together. I like it stormy.
Good evening/morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Got the wireless air all installed on the pickup. Seems to be working fine and hasn't lost any air out of the bags in the last 7 hours.

You should have bought it! Could have pulled the boat along with you.Even had the forced air furnace along with the propane Cat heater I put in. So two heaters that would flat cook you out.

That's why they put furnaces in the RV's. If I wanted to go back to "fair weather camping" I still have a Huge tent, a medium tent and two small carry on the horse pup tents.
Diamond Lake in September is great! Rain, sleet, hail, snow, sun. You get to experience the full effects of Mother Nature.
One of our friends down in Roseburg sent us a picture of waste deep snow and wanted us to come down for a couple of days. The warden put the nix on that before I could even ask.
