After a whole lot of digging and hitting up the chat part of the ford parts page, I found out whag it is finally. Its the wire that “excites” or gives a surge to make the alternator work. Somehow it got cut, and now its screwing with my alternator. Unfortunately the part nor the wiring harness is manufactured anymore. Ill have to hit up a junk yard for one, or at least that piece so I have some more wire to play with and fix.
If y’all happen to know where else besides rockauto, LMC, and vintage parts that is an “official” obsolete parts dealer that i might find this it would be appreciated.
I may have that connector, but if I recall correctly, I think it it may be about like yours. I will look tomorrow. I don't see why you can't wire in some other kind of connector and go on from there.
Good morning Andy and the Oregon crew. Just frigid here this morning, truck said -11 on the way in. May get more snow, to go with the 3" we had yesterday. Is it spring yet?
Well, Pat you are much colder. I just got spoiled yesterday I was out in shorts and a t-shirt putting up a new dear fence around the garden (about 90% done).
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 38 here with just a few clouds to the East and what looks like a fog bank rising up off the beach & over the coast range. Pretty sure it will burn off before it gets here.
Yep, it was pretty darn nice running around in a T-Shirt yesterday.
Man, how do you guys rate so much nice weather??LOL
What Evan said Pat. If we can't go to Waikiki, then the Pineapple Express brings it to us here in the Banana Belt. But, like Evan says, we usually get severely punished for it a few days later. Either by the Pineapple Express or an Artic blast directly out of the Gulf of Alaska.
We get decent weather for a few days, then we get thrown into the deep freeze. I don't know who in Nebraska pissed off Ma Nature, but they need to apologize!!LOL

Mother Natures way of getting even for all of that corn from back there destined for the engine killing ethanol plants.
Hmmm, fog/cloud bank building over the Beach and Coast Range didn't burn off. We now have a solid overcast.
Waiting for a couple of phone calls, get some lunch and then head back over to Salem to retrieve the boat. I really was expecting it to take a few more days. I'm going to have to speed up the wood pellet delivery I guess.
