Hello Chris, I was out clearing the foot of snow that filled in that path I've been trying to keep clear to the shop. Expecting another big dump here so the rumor goes..
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just getting home from the storage lot. Danged automatic, electric gate just almost didn't want to let me out.
Fired up the gen set and the furnace and replaced all of the interior lights, including the twin fluorescent fixture over the table, with LED lights and fixture. The twin "tube" fixture that replaced the fluorescent sure light the place up! Supposedly at an eighth the drain on the batteries.
Only got one of the exterior lights done. Have two to go. Needed ladder and it started raining.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 37.8, wet, rain, .35" for the day, 100%, chance of rain throughout the rest of the day....just another February day in Oregon.
Morning all! Hey Jim, it's the LAST day of February! Wooohooo!!!!
For only the 3rd or 4th time in my life I actually overslept this morning by 40min. Must of been some stress release/relief after finally getting the local airport reopened yesterday after it was closed for the last 8 months... which was 4 months longer than it should have been.

Yep, now we have to get through March and only 4 months until July.
I've already seen where someone from Arizona, moved up here, bought a house directly in the flight path / approach pattern and now gripes about it. To me it is a lot like buying property in the middle of Hagg or Devils Lake and then complaining that it is underwater 12 months out of the year. Sorry if I have no sympathy for that type of thing.
Waiting to hear from Tony. He should have the pickup finished up today. He thought he would have it done yesterday afternoon, but didn't call.
I think I might agree with you. I'm not sure anyone really notices the airport until a big chinook helicopter comes in or the National Guard is doing some night ops. Heck most still think Evergreen owned it. SMH.
Good news on the truck until you need to pay the bill!
