Got the rigs moved around and the boat in the driveway and disconnected. Got to town and made an appointment with Tony to get the transmission in the pickup checked out. Been several years and it's probably time to let pro's to take a peak at what the back yard mechanic has been up to.
Swung down on the river bottom to the rifle range to check the river bank and a friend of mine and former Reserve LEO was shooting his AR 15. Then he broke out his Ruger Super Redhawk 454 Casull. What a whopping hand full.
Then it was time for the campers. Got no where with the burned out one.
The one I was going to pick up stayed there. He wants to have the battery vender test both batteries on Wednesday to make sure there is nothing wrong with the new batteries.
Works fine for me. I would have needed to load it, bring it home and unload it since we need the pickup and the winch at the range tomorrow to move a backstop.
Belated good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 23° when I headed out for a meeting and coffee this morning. Currently 24.7 under blue skies. Apparently someone switch the sun to an LED bulb...doesn't seem to be much heat to it.

2026 Shelby F-150 Off-Road: Better Than a Raptor R?
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Spent the afternoon at the range with a couple of guys installing a new bullet trap. Fired a few rounds into it to check it out. Fired some severe angle shots checking for blow back, shrapnel or ricochet. Didn't have any. Looking pretty good. Cleaning is as simple as pulling the trap cap off.
Then I had to go back to town tonight for a YCSA meeting.
Spent the day in the shop working on my pickup project.
Started the day at 10 degrees.....made it all the way to 60 this afternoon. Just about let the fire in the shop go out.
