With some bulbs, you can adjust the depth the bulbs stick into the housing. This can make a big difference. Many stick too far in and that shifts the pattern up and changes the pattern itself.
anyone able to confirm which LED edge should be on top and which on bottom when they are faced in the 9/3 oclock position for the Beamtech 10k lumen ones?
I bought some LEDs from superbrightleds.com with some mixed results. First I bought four 3157-R27-T-CK for rear stop/flasher service with some success. They were not 2 to 3 times brighter than the original incandescents as claimed. Anecdotally I’d say that they were a little brighter except from exactly behind from about 15 feet away. I viewed them as satisfactory and kept them.
For backup lights I got the 7443-NW27-T-CK that the website suggested. They didn’t even fit what we for historical reasons call a socket. That slot is not a socket! I returned them.
I made the order with the lowest cost shipping. For the six bulbs that was ~$2.50. As time went on they set and reset my expectations for delivery time multiple times. That was really aggravating. The bulbs did finally arrive.
superbrightleds.com performed adequately crediting my returned bulbs.
My desire for brighter flashers came about due to weather phenomena that I'd never experienced before. I am older than dirt and generally able to stay off the roads under bad conditions. Twice this winter fronts came thru with complete whiteouts lasting ~30 minutes when the weatherpeeps said that they had only 5 minutes notice. This was in the front range of CO. No, I didn’t get caught but I might have been caught.
I usually back up my driveway which is >300 ft. In the snow the standard backup lights are not particularly effective. I’m reminded of the time when I was little, around the time of the Peloponnesian War, when I had to wear a textured shirt said to be white-on-white. That is my driveway!

Anyone put these bulbs in a 2020 with a 7.3? Looks like the drivers side can be done without removing anything and the passenger just needs airbox lifted up, maybe they improved the design? Looks like a 5min job to swap the bulbs, but never that easy... Also are the Beamtechs still the best bang for your buck? I see you will need qty 4 H13 and 2 H10 for the fogs, is that correct still for the 2020?

Didnt read all 800 posts in this thread but looked back several pages and didnt see anyone who did them with a 7.3 engine bay. Just hoping it was as simple as it looked.

superbrightleds.com was OK.
What was your solution for your reverse lights? Did you just put the stock incandescent bulbs?
I've tried both the 7443s and the 3157s (both 'supposed' to fit in the '17-'19 models) with no success. They don't fit as you mentioned.

I put these in my '19, they fit perfectly and are pretty bright. Not the life altering difference of the Beamtech LED from stock, but definitely worth doing.
I may have missed what year you are trying to fit though.

I had LEDs like that both models I mentioned before, but they would wiggle/vibrate out of the "socket" in the image below (this is generic image). You haven't had that experience?

Not "yet".
They have no popped out yet, they have been in there since March.
So far so good with them.
What kind of timeline were you seeing of them wiggling out?
I have to admit of not putting alot of miles on the truck since install because of Covid which has stifled the activities I use the truck most for.

You are correct for 7.3. No need to remove grill, etc.
Driver's side is a little tight for the lower bulb but doable without removing anything.
Passenger side - pop out air filter box and very easy install.
Those four and two fogs took me about 30 minutes total using small step ladder.
