I've been running the Auxbeams now for about a year, They were much better than the Halogens but didn't seem to have much difference on the high beam side. Been reading all the posts on the Beamtech's, Ordered a set yesterday and they came same day delivery, Installed them this morning and was very surprised at the outcome tonight. Low beams are 100% better than the Auxbeams, and the high beams are also 100% better, a big difference compared . Also the fact that there silent is another Plus. Worth every penny !!! If your on the fence, best 70.00 you can spend.
I’ve had the Auxbeams for about a year too and am not a fan but haven’t read good enough stuff in this thread to want to change. Your post has changed my mind. Going to order them Friday! Thanks!
They're the fogs that I have. I clicked your link and Amazon said I already bought them!
As stated, fogs aren't that big of a deal to me. Just not required as much since the Beamtechs.
yeah, I thought the fogs were going to be brighter than they are. I’m going to try the 9005 below and hope they are brighter!
Yes, I put 9005 bulbs in my fog lights. You have to be careful putting the bulb in, it's a tighter fit than the recommended bulb. One of the tabs are slightly larger and I've seen tips that you should trim off some of one tab, but I didn't have to modify the bulb.
Thanks for the advice as I ordered some and installed them. This is exactly what I was looking for! Thanks again!
Not a problem with these Alla fogs, Beamtech in the mains, Alla in the fogs. Fogs 1600 lumen each. A few are running the Alla fogs, I'm one of them, love them. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BDBZW3E...iglink20368-20
Amazon says it doesn't fit a 2017 F250. Just want to make sure they fit....
I always thought bright light tends to bounce back from the fog mist and you don't see as far. That's why you should use low beams in fog rather than the high beams. Dimmer light penetrates deeper into the fog. How are the 9005's in fog?

Amazon's fitment chart isn't the most accurate. It says my Allas wouldn't fit either. I think that's because they're supposed to be a 9140 but I went with a 9145. But yet even though it says it won't fit the truck at the top of the page, the item description cross reference shows 9140, 9040, 9045, 9145, 9050, 9055, 9155, H10, PY20D,etc.
So what BEAMTECH series (H1, H3, H4, H7, H11, H13, 880, 9005, 9006, 9007) for the following below?
Low Beam?
High Beam?
Fog Lights?
Low Beam? H13
High Beam? H13
Fog Lights? 9005 if you're okay with really bright fogs or different brand if you want the stock size 9140 bulb. The 9005 bulb is actually a headlight, not sure of the legality of that bulb being installed as a fog light, but I sure do like how bright it is.

You guys know how to make people spend money. Last week I did the beamtech H13 led headlights and 9005s beamtech in the fogs. I wanted the factory leds but’s it’s not available for sclb xlt and I don’t see spending 3k to upgrade. I will say I thing there brighter then the factory led lights.
