Drove the Ex out to DirtFish to watch my buddy rally his Subaru. 11th place in the 35 car Modified AWD class, which is great considering he's got a pretty beat up Outback Sport with a WRX engine swap and was racing against a handful of STIs. Racing was happening back behind the tree line.
If it copied right here is the info I found.

DirtFish bought an abandoned mill property out in Snoqualmie and some of the buildings and warehouses are still standing and part of the courses. They are most known for being an academy where you can pay to go learn how to drive an AWD or RWD rally car. They also have full blown competition courses for rally events. My friend raced on a short course that was very autocross-like, but in dirt. Here's an aerial image of their two biggest courses.
Flying the colors today for all those past, present, and future heros that fight for the freedom that allows me to drive my big *** Ex around whenever/wherever I please. Thank you
I've been informed via other channels that, in typical engineer social-awkwardness fashion, I've managed to irritate some vets by my choice of wording on posts like the above that included gratitude toward surviving/living servicemen on Memorial Day. That was not my intent, so I appologize in advance to anybody here who may feel the same way.

My wife had to remind me of that same nuance this weekend.
Well, my head cold kept me home from work today. I'm on day 5 and its just starting to clear up, but decide to spare my coworkers from the lovely sounds and nose blowing.
Since my energy levels are fine, my ADHD wouldn't let me relax on the couch. So popped some head meds and went down to the DOL to get my enhanced license. Plan was to get in and out within that two-hour period when the meds seem to work best. And then their systems crashed.
