The lugs are ratchet torqued to 160ftlb and i almost always have a breaker bar for roadside emergencies.

Your IR is cute. I raise you Milwaukee M18 Fuel.
I too came outside, enjoyed the breeze and managed to lube the rear calipers, which desperately required it.
Sidenote: I think I should upgrade phones soon, picture below is crap.
Wheel Torque seems a bit high too.

I got a chance even with this cold sinus thing I have to do a little planting.
Was nice to be out in the sun with the light breeze blowing. Just wished the
breeze would of stopped so I could get some spraying done. Oh well that is
what Monday is for I guess. Round Up is your friend. All a little Crossbow to it
and it will take out some nasty things I have growing where the y should not be.

I posted the Chilton's manual specifications above in picture.
1999-2000 148ft-lbs
2001-2002155 ft-lbs
2003+ 165 ft-lbs
Were you able to see the picture? Guessing no. Thinking it's related to my crappy S5.

nope, the pic looks fine. I can't find my Chilton so I just went with another manual screenshot that someone posted in another forum and they also mentioned Ford reissued torque specs for some years. Anyway, your data is probably the best to use so I'll go down to 148, thanks!

I retorqued back to 148.
Back on the road! Got busy and couldn't line up schedules with Turbo, so since I'm a night owl I figured it's a good time to learn how to do a one-man bleed job and so I did. Come 230am I had the Ex back on the road breaking in the Z36 pads per Powerstop instruction. This morning everything continued to work as one would expect.
Fun story: I left a small wrench on the frame rail after I was done tightening a bleeder and the little booger held on until I was about a minute down the road from home in the dark. Fell off, hit the ground, bounced back up and nailed the underside of the Ex, and ricocheted all over the place and freaked the crap outta me. I stopped and checked everything over in the spot and everything liked fine then I finally found the wrench back up the road about 100 feet. Not the sound you want to hear after all this work lol.
Brakes grab great, stops real smooth. Huge upgrade from what was on the Ex before.

One thing you learn when taking all the schooling to become an aircraft mechanic.
Tool inventory control. If it's not in you hand than it in the tools box.

Nice job NW.
Did you vacuum, pressure or how did you bleed the brakes?
I see a 08+ rear differential cover in your future.
I think they run about $60 and will require longer bolts.
I should mention after lubing the rear brakes on my truck it sure is nice not hearing them make squealing noises since the grease was dried up.

08+ Diff cover would be sweet. Maybe when fluids need to be addressed. Think I'm going to start saving to restore my grandpa's '65 C10 now. Pretty happy with the state of the Ex as she sits now. I know I'll do more tho.

Thanks! The white hides a ton, and a few cool features like lift and tires do a good job distracting people from all the imperfections, but I love it and continue to throw time and money at it haha.
