I am in Louisville this week for business and I had some extra time this afternoon. I visited the KTP and found a lot filled with hundreds of Superdutys. The trucks were blocked by a big mound, but I climbed it. Most did not have spray-ins but a few did. I was on the wrong side of the fence and was unable to find mine. After 10 minutes of walking the fence line and taking pics an employee approached me. He questioned me and asked me to delete the pics. He informed me pics were not permitted in that area. My initial thoughts were to tell him to F off, but he was polite and only doing his job. So I appeased him and deleted the first 2 pics. So I informed him my truck was 6 weeks late. He told me there are 2500 trucks waiting on jacks. He knew nothing of the Berliner delay.
have you gone back into your deleted photos and undeleted them? Wonder how they fend off Google satellites.. or drones over public street
Were you trespassing when you took these photos? Port of Long Beach tried to tell me once I couldn't take photos of the port from a public road.. wrong.

If you took those pics with your Smart phone, you can go to the deleted photo's and recover them, unless he made you dump that too.
ON EDIT: Sorry missed the next page. This was already mentioned.
Hum you ordered a F350 LBCC and so did I. Wondering if it's all the same body type?
My CCLB w/ liner was built on 11/4 and had an initial ETA of 11/28. I stopped by the dealer yesterday and found out that my truck has not been shipped & is sitting at KTP. Dealer said he'll make a couple of calls this morning to try to figure out what's going on.
Has anyone had any luck getting real answers through their dealer on the delay in shipping?

Anyhow, jacks huh..
I only deleted 2 of the photos 5 photos as he watched. There is really nothing confidential. No proto types or anything unusual. Just hundreds of new trucks bumper to bumper.
I wonder if all of us took one of those photo's into our dealerships and demanded a reason why our trucks are sitting there getting acid rain damaged, if they'd tell us something.

We have are spy's helping us out.
I too have a 350 LBCC with spray in liner. This is the first time I heard anything about a jack holding the trucks up. Do they need a jack to send the trucks? I will take my chances of driving my new truck until they get the jacks in stock.

You would not get far at all. Dealers have surprisingly little influence over the Ford operation. They are actually no more than puppets with strings straight to Dearborn, MI. Dearborn has the power to tell them to sit down and shut up, the same as they do their customers. And then have some overly nice customer relations robot call and explain how hard they are working to satisfy your complaint, week after week after week after week and really nothing has changed.
Here, I will give you their answer and save your energy:
"We have experienced an unexpected demand for our new vehicles and everything in our power is being done to expedite delivery of your new truck. Let us assure you the specially formulated paints will never be damaged by the elements. Your truck is receiving the utmost attention while sitting in the back of the storage yard. The transportation department is working night and day to ensure prompt and safe delivery to our dealers, and most importantly to our valued customers. You should have your new Super Duty by November 21st, but remember it will take your dealer one or two days to fully service and set your new truck up to our high standards. Thank you for your commitment to Ford Motor Company and congratulations on your new purchase."

That was good!
I'll bet if we as a group went together and cancelled our orders and told them that we were buying Chevy's and Dodges they'd be calling us and offering a set of lawn chairs with the Ford logo and a customized wooden pen with the Ford logo that said "2017 Truck of the year".
I say that because back in 1997 I ordered a new F150 when that new body style first came out. They delayed my order for months and months. Finally I cancelled and bought a truck off the lot.
Ford sent me a letter of apology and the pen and lawn chairs w/ logo as a gift for my patience. It was a nice touch, but those chairs (still have them) remind me of the frustration I experienced. Kind of like this situation but much worse then.
My dealer told me that this order would take 8-10 weeks. I'm at week 11 now and the ETA is at 16 weeks.
