Mine was escalated on chat as well and someone emailed me saying they will reach out to me on Monday.

I do not have the Ford bedliner and I do not have my truck. The case has been escalated 3 times since September and nothing changed other than getting weekly calls from humanoid robots in customer care with what appears to usually be erroneous information. So maybe the truck will be here this week, they have been back pedaling ever since missing the 20NOV date which was months too late in the first place. Please, just give me a correct answer. Please, if you are investigating the case actually do something to make this happen.
That's funny. I'm suppose to receive a call Monday also. When I called Ford today the lady told me "I have an ETA for you!" I almost dropped my phone. But she continued reading the notes and said "I'm extremely sorry. The ETA was Nov 4th. " Then she continued to say how sorry and unusual this was
So she said someone will call me Monday.
Well I got my call. And............................................... ........ Nothing. No new ETA. No new info. Just a person on the phone who is very sorry and looking into this for me.
Well lucky you...I didn't even receive my call even though Ford Chat said they show that I am supposed to get a follow up call today. Geez...this is just a mess.
I was contacted by my dealer this afternoon to let me know why my Truck that was built on 10/19 is still at the factory with no progress, and an ETA that hasn't been updated. From a bulletin that was released from Ford today to dealers, the plant has been overwhelmed with factory spray in bed liners and they can't keep up. It was projected that by 12/31 they would catch up with their backlog, and that built retail orders would be prioirty. My dealer is looking into if orders can be shipped without the liner and the cost be deducted from the sticker.
I'd do it locally from a reputable shop. Factory won't be any better
Heard from customer service today, " we"re sorry, but there is no delivery information currently available, for your truck. We will update you again next week". Great.
Don't put much faith in anything they say. None of them can tell the same story and none of them can get it right. You will get your truck when they feel like it and not a minute sooner!!
My truck was built on 11/23, with bedliner also. Today my dealer said the same thing, that my truck is in transport and is due by 12/13. He said that transport has to bring him 3 Super Duties and that they will probably wait to try to get all three on the truck.
During our conversation I found this interesting. He said that Ford has "runs" on these trucks and that this week they may be running extended cabs with gas engines, then next week it may be crew cabs with diesels. This explains the jumps in VIN numbers with trucks coming down the line as they are assigned chronologically as they take the orders, but if a diesel CC truck is ordered in a week when they are running regular cab gassers they wait their turn.

i cant tell you how much it pains me to see you STILL waiting without any answers!!! That's ludicrous!! I got lucky with my 4/23 order that was built 9/6 and delivered 9-15.
Rasalas. have you considered cancelling your order and starting all over again? I know it's kind of like being on the telephone and someone puts you on "hold" for an extended amount of time. You hate to hang up because you know they have to come back any minute. But, this case is awful to say the least, and everyone on here feels bad for you.
I would to tell my dealer that if they don't produce the truck in one week, Ford has lost my business, for good, and follow through with it if they don't.
You Sir, are a good man!

I suffer the give them another week syndrome. Written correspondence with Dearborn, MI customer care back in September promised help. Weekly calls from customer care after that gave progress reports, except there was never any real progress. Three case files regarding my complaints have done nothing. Last week after sitting in Louisville for 2 weeks Ford finally agreed to put a priority on shipping. Now it sits 70 miles away for 3 days waiting for a full truck.
Yes I almost cancelled and started over. Yes I sat in the Fiat dealer's chair until I had to go outside and puke after seeing their offerings. 50 years with Ford and I almost walked away but I recognize the quality of the truck and I believe wholly that Ford does not care about the individual anymore, only the sales numbers for the stockholders. The philosophy of Henry Ford has been displaced by a bunch of greedy number crunchers who know they have a desirable product, so keep on putting out the trucks and damn the individuals whose orders fall by the wayside. Who needs them anyway?
