I'm not so sure about this spray on delay. I ordered a 2017 Ford F250, Powerstroke 4x4 crew cab Platinum WITH SPRAY ON LINER on 10-1-16. Order was processed by Ford on 10-4-16. I received my Vin from the dealer on 10-20-16, and was informed that my build date was 11-21-16. I received my window sticker on 11-16-16. Truck was actually built on 11-23-16. Etis fully populated on 11-27-16. I contacted Ford via chat this evening and they informed me my truck was in transit and would arrive at my dealership on 12-6-16. So far everything has gone smoothly and unless Ford lied to me the truck should be showing up at my dealer next week. Why would there be a delay for some but not all of us??
Mine was built on 11/23. CHAT says that its in transportation and will arrive at the dealership on 12/23, but to give them 2-3 business days to process it. Emphasis on business days as it runs into Christmas.
A month seems like an awfully long time to transport a vehicle 450 miles.

I ordered the same vehicle as you on 9/5/2016. Built 10/20/2016 and released to body that day. Been there ever since....
Finally got a vehicule visibility report from the dealership. Truck has been sitting on a ramp at KTP waiting shipment since 11/8. No updates in the report nothing. It's like it's in a black hole. I'm sure it has something to do with the bedliner issue. Just another missed managed truck that Ford lost in the shuffle.
I've called every number and everyone I could think of, all that anyone can tell me is it's on a hold, and it sounds like it could very well be the bedliner like you suggested. I haven't been able to get an ETA other than "it could be any day" and honestly have no idea who else to ask, even my fleet director is scratching his head wondering why we can't get a solid answer. I'm checking it every morning and the second it changes I'll let you know. Hoping it will be here by the 9th, if for any reason it doesn't, I'll figure something out for you.
So with that from my dealer I have no vehicle. I sold my 2004 F250 last weekend expecting a truck any day. Fortunally im on a business trip to Indanapilous and will not be home until 12/9. Now I wait. It's only a 2hr drive to Louisville, maybe I drive, down there to ask them what the holdup is and a new ETA. FRUSTRATED for sure.
I was contacted by ford (email) from my "customer care specialist" today. She informed me that the body company is back logged at this time. They are actively working with the supplier to reduce the time and expedite vehicles needing the bedliner.
So basically telling me what I already learned from you guys 13 days ago!!!!
Same here!! I can't really
decide what's worse....having an ETA and that ETA passing with no update, or not having an ETA from the start and Ford just saying "we will get it to you as soon as we can." Hmm....probably the first one.
These trucks have to be Fords biggest money maker EVER! They can belly ache all they want about the cost of technology, these trucks are paying off big time for them.
However, if a potential buyer was to look at this thread, they'd shy away from special ordering a truck, don't you think?
Depends on what you want, I wanted base lariat trim with carpet delete, good luck finding one of those on a lot, so in spite of all my bellyaching, end of day I am going to wait in order to get truck configured the way I want. you spend that much, you need to get it like you want it, IMHO.

It blows my mind you haven't received yours yet. I didn't make any fancy changes to my Platinum, just added most of the options you could get. It still somehow fell off the production train with the rest of you guys. It's crazy...maybe they pulled them all back in to change the transmission line mounting bolts Nah...fat chance.
I am in Louisville this week for business and I had some extra time this afternoon. I visited the KTP and found a lot filled with hundreds of Superdutys. The trucks were blocked by a big mound, but I climbed it. Most did not have spray-ins but a few did. I was on the wrong side of the fence and was unable to find mine. After 10 minutes of walking the fence line and taking pics an employee approached me. He questioned me and asked me to delete the pics. He informed me pics were not permitted in that area. My initial thoughts were to tell him to F off, but he was polite and only doing his job. So I appeased him and deleted the first 2 pics. So I informed him my truck was 6 weeks late. He told me there are 2500 trucks waiting on jacks. He knew nothing of the Berliner delay.
