Bed Liner Delay
I was contacted by my dealer this afternoon to let me know why my Truck that was built on 10/19 is still at the factory with no progress, and an ETA that hasn't been updated. From a bulletin that was released from Ford today to dealers, the plant has been overwhelmed with factory spray in bed liners and they can't keep up. It was projected that by 12/31 they would catch up with their backlog, and that built retail orders would be prioirty. My dealer is looking into if orders can be shipped without the liner and the cost be deducted from the sticker.

My build date was 11/15 on 11/16 ford chat gave me a delivery date of 11/29, just now ford chat gave me an 11/28 date. I have the spray in bed liner. Does this mean that the date they gave me today may not be accurate?

As for the bedliner, call me picky, but I ordered the factory one because I wanted the
logo stamped in the front of the bed. (Even though everyone says Linex is that way to go) I don't know if I could change...I ordered it because I wanted EVERY option that I wanted and didn't want to settle for something off the lot.

My dealer told me the same thing. Build date of 10-18. He has also told me there is now a delay because there is a shortage of jacks. Not sure what to think.

That must of been what happened to the Lariat Ultra, I was waiting on that was built 10-18-16 and the dealer couldn't find it,s I bought a King Ranch from a different dealer 3 days ago. I am so glad they couldn't find it.

Grrr just did the paperwork on my truck today. Was told it was waiting for shipment from KTP AND WOULD BE at the dealership NEXT week. Because it's Thanksgiving week and going to be busy I wanted to get it out of the way. Now I have my doubts because I also am getting the sprayin bed liner. Looks like I'm going to be waiting a lot longer. Build date was 11/7.

Thanks for the info about the spray in bed liner. I was able to have it removed from my build. I ordered my truck on 11/9 and haven't recieved a vin so they said no problem and removed it.
After reading on this forum I also removed the BLIS after finding out it doesn't work with gooseneck or fifth wheel trailers.
