I started this thread almost a month ago and today I finally got the call that my truck was in. It got through the bedliner backlog fairly quick and shipped 11/22 but sat within 40 miles of my dealer for over a week at the rail yard. I'm just glad the 19 week wait is finally over and I can finally enjoy it.
Got an email from the dealership today, my truck is supposed to be delivered the week of January 9th. It has a build date of October 6th, so it'll be 3 months from the build date to install a bedliner and ship it to ohio from kentucky. I also heard that some of the delay was that ford was finishing up retail orders before finishing A and Z plan orders. Maybe thats why I had to wait a little longer.
Got an update from the dealership. New ETA is 1/6 to 1/12. Dealership said the reason for the delay is "body company application". Bedliner! Anyway I have hope once again. I feel like a yo yo!!
Dealer called this morning, sez train with my truck in Birmingham Al. ETA Jacksonville Fla.12/19. Then at mercy of trucking company for 90 mile ride to dealership. I"m gettin excited. Hopin for early Christmas present.
I skipped the Ford bed liner for this reason. My order popped up a message saying the 4.30 limited slip Dana was on order. Sounds like another delay item.

From what I"ve read vins don"t matter, not sequential, and seems not to matter which truck ships ahead of which. Mine was in Waycross Ga. this a.m. Hope you get yours soon, too. Took mine couple days to get to Alabama after leavin KTP.
My dealer told me that the VIN numbers are issued chronologically as orders are taken. However, they don't come through the assembly line that way as they have "runs" of trucks. One week it may be gasser regular cabs, the next week it may be Crew cab diesels. The most ordered trucks, the crew cab diesels, have the most runs. The least ordered, (probably the gassers) have fewest.
This is how he explained to me that my truck and another member's truck were built the same day but serial numbers were about 800 apart.
I ordered 3 F350 LBCC on the same day. My build date was 11/22 and ETA was 12/13-12/18 and it was the first and lowest VIN#. Just heard from dealer that 2 are coming in next week and my personal truck will be in around the 19th of Jan! All have sprayed in bedliner but the 2 that are coming in had Platinum white paint and 2 toned paint..
