No update here...ETA still November 10th with no change from "In production." Hopefully soon...with an order date of 9/5/16 and a build date of 10/20/16, it's been a month since it has been built. Guys who ordered after me somehow are getting their liners done before me and showing their vehicle
"in transit." There is no telling how they determine the order of the vehicles. I just hope it arrives soon!

The best that I can figure when a vehicle is short of a needed item whether it be bed liner or maybe a camera it's set aside. The line keeps running and as the needed parts come in the trucks that are already on the line get them first. Then they seem to "sneak" one of the left behind trucks in on occasion.
It's definitely not right for newer trucks to end up ahead of trucks that have been sitting waiting on parts.
Has anyone heard how they are making out with backlog? I checked with chat yesterday and my status hasn't changed.
According to ETIS, my build date was 11/11. Eta was 11/22, then 11/25, salesman called me today, sez no change in status, still "in production", no updated ETA. I ordered spray in liner. Just got off another chat, they say since ETA has expired, I will be contacted by customer care in 1-2 biz days. Anyone else experience this?

Yup. I was contacted. They explained how sorry they are and understand how I feel. Then they made a "case" and escalated it to someone. Sounds really good. Finally got the ball moving. But in the end they have done absolutely nothing for me. They contact me once a week with no information. I'm not exaggerating. They provide me with nothing.
Sure did...and it was worthless. They contacted me and said "Sir, I'm not sure what is going on with your truck. I have worked here for 5 years and have never seen this. I will escalate this for you." And then the escalation happens, and nobody can tell me anything still. It is truly silly.
They literally have no idea about the bed liner delay, only the dealer knew that. They have absolutely no idea why the truck is delayed, nor do they have any estimate at all of a new ETA. They just say "Sir, I understand your frustration..."

Hope you have better luck than me.
I hear you Tjjr...that is exactly the same response I am getting. Absolutely nothing...and that is no exaggeration. They are worthless. And unlike a cell phone where you threaten to change service providers and they work with you a little more, they said there is nothing they can do, even if I was just going to cancel my order and walk. I was thinking a $500 voucher or something, considering I'm paying for a $75,000 truck that nobody can tell me an estimate of when it will arrive. (They did...and then the date came and went, and it is lost...) That would seriously shut me up, but right now, I just want to know SOMETHING. I guess they called my bluff.
As I posted earlier, ordered 25.00 worth of jockey underwear, I get regular updates and e-mails as to status of my order, can track my package and ETA daily, order a 65,000.00 truck, and............ really?
Yeah, I just don't get it. I would love to see the parking lot full of 1,000 trucks just sitting there waiting for a liner. Give me a break! Where do they come up with these ETAs? I'd love to know what they are telling new orders.
Dont get me wrong, my family has been Ford for 3 generations, cars, trucks, farm equipment. Just seems the folks running these big companies these days are outa touch with their operations, employees, and customers. I work for a large company that routinely lies to everyone, it's like they believe their own b.s. and think everyone else too stupid to see whats what. Kind of like our politicians. When I ordered I was completely content with 90 day wait, then start getting early, unrealistic, ETA"s. Why do that? Be straight with your employees, and your customers, it"s good business. "Let your yes mean yes, and your no mean no."
My truck is also delayed because of the bed liner. This really sucks. Dealer has no idea why it is being delayed. He thought it would be delivered by now. I'm sure it is the bed liner.
is it just me, or does anybody else hurt to see the oem paint be sanded off to put the linex coating? Seems like there should be a better way. Only reason I opted for the oe instead.
yes..it definitely hurts me to see that! what a shame ripping that nice paint job apart
My Build was completed on 11/23. Shipped to Body Company on 11/25 for what I am assuming is the spray-in liner. Picked up from the body company by Ray Cooper Transport on 11/27. On 11/28 at 1:00pm it went into transit and is now on Csx Rail Car. I don't know how it got through the big Spray-in liner backlog in just 1-2 days this weekend.
