Gents,
so my original order was 4-30-16 truck was build 10-18-16...this week Ford is now waiting on a new motor (Diesel, no specifics as to what is wrong with the one in it) to be installed in the truck (never was the bed liner). Original ETA was OCT 28th. No further ETA...
Will be doing a new order...no idea what will happen to the original truck.
I have the worst luck

The truck is being moved today to the dealer. The transport co, Jack Cooper, only treats "priority" as having to meet the ETA, which has been 12DEC for almost 2 weeks now. So they just let it sit for 2 weeks in Buffalo and wait for the last minute to get it over here. This is known in today's world as "Good Customer Service."

Now I'm really confused. They (ford) have been telling me all along that it was a bed-liner delay but sounds like maybe it was something else all along. My truck was built 10/20. Wonder if I'm getting a new motor also?

Not sure....I think there may have been an actual bed liner issue....there was some eluding that I'm not the only one with this issue, but no confirmation. To be clear all I was told is that it was the engine that is now affecting my truck, nothing specific as to what exactly was wrong with the motor.

True. But when people order after me and get their truck WITH bedliner while my truck is sitting does make me wonder.
