Thanks my friend. Glad to hear from you. Info on your new one???
I think you've been out of the loop! After the dealer convinced me to trade my truck early for extra $$$ because of the "high confidence" they had my truck would be delivered 9/4, it turns out my truck is still stuck at the plant with no ETA and being held for unknown reasons. The rep told the dealer it would be "2 months" or more before it showed but could not say why. So, I simply could not wait that amount of time...in fact, my work schedule required me to have a truck by the 10th. After scouring the area for an in-stock 2017 dually, and finding none, I reluctantly purchased another new 2016 truck (see signature). The deal was right and the dealership was fair. They offered a trade again in 6 months (you can only use x-plan once every 6-months) on the original blue dually which they also re-ordered. We'll see. I'm enjoying the "new" truck once again, feel a little foolish, but its the nicest of the bunch that I've ever had and its doing the job of pulling my 10k lbs of tractor and equipment hauler very well up in the hills of New England. So far, my "mod" is replacing the stock tires with 35" BFG All-Terrain KO2 tires which make the truck look much better.
Thanks for checking in. I've been busy with these side jobs starting again and have been following along from the sidelines. Can't wait to see more of the '17's rolling in and the pics appearing on this site. I did get to drive a new 2017 (regular cab gas XLT) and it drove very nice.

Kind of Happy/Sad. You started the process early with great expectations then each rung of the ladder seemed to snap with every bit of news. Glad you recovered and landed on your feet and seem to have graciously. I am not sure I would be so tolerant. Well, at least with a 6 month trade in possible you may have the first MY 18 on the block!!
Dealer called and said my truck arrived today and will be prepped and ready for pick up next week. Pics as soon as I can. Ruby red dot supercab work truck

I think I would ask why it will take until next week for delivery. Also think I would go down and look at the truck to see whats up.
