Build Progress - VIN's and build dates

The window sticker date is the date the sticker was generated and is pretty reliable. Trucks are usually built within a few days of that. If I get out my code cracker book and look at 7-99-2016 I would interpret that to read September 7, 2016. But that's my guess.

The rumor mill says that last Wednesday they built 480 units until 4:00 PM and then shut down. Then last Thursday they built 350 by noon and shut down. Sounds like speed is plenty fast but parts shortages are still making for short days.

Talked with chat yesterday and they bumped my dealer ETA from the 17th to the 22nd. Window sticker date is 8/26 and date built in ETIS of 9/6. That's the most sun that truck will see in it's lifetime.

Finally at last WOO HOO Makes me happy to be alive. Vin number and build date of 10 OCT 16. Maybe here before winter after all. And now I can stop whining and look forward in a better mood!!!!!

Just noticed that AriFleet updated their Estimated Order-to-Delivery Time. It's now 16-18 weeks. Yikes! That's 4 more weeks from yesterday. Four and a half months for a Super Duty order? Wow.

Congrats! You've been waiting for that a LONG time. I kinda feel like I cut in line in front of someone because I ordered Retail Priority 10 on 8/20/16 and Chat gave me a VIN today but no ETA yet.
