I'm actually glad to hear Kenv is getting his order first. He's been waiting a long time. Rasalas should be getting locked in too.
I haven't heard if the line speed has increased from the original start up speed which was about 200 units per day. It needs to get up to 400 per day pretty quick or the orders will keep falling farther behind. Parts, parts, parts.
Last I talked to the Regional Rep (through sales girl) he indicated orders would not be scheduled again until after 15Sep16. I never should have ordered so early, but did not know Ford would take the last orders in for the first orders out. I though they would have a better system in place. Oh well. I believe the new truck will be good but I am beginning to doubt that it will be that much better than an outgoing model at substantial savings. I signed in for the initial wait. I did not expect the order system to be so off kilter.

I'm a little reluctant to ask chat for further updates for fear of bad news. Last update they gave me was truck in processing, eta to dealt by 9-20. If the date on my window sticker Is correct then truck was built 8-31. I'm debating being patient and hoping for the best or checking with chat again Friday....

At least you have an ETA. I only get "processing, cleared."
Just remember, the longer the wait, the better the build will be, as they work these bugs out. A buddy of mine ordered one and he has a contact at KTP and that's what he keeps telling him. Hard to be patient when the excitement of this truck is within reach.
ETIS finally filled in last Monday (8-29) with a build date of 8-29.
According to my dealer (north Louisiana) my truck is on train car 100 miles north of me now.
Ford chat just gave me an ETA of 9-15.

In essence that is what the rep said. This roll out is almost chaos so sit tight and wait for a good one when it comes. He also said (happened to be in the dealers when I was ordering) that my order would be one of the first after the OK to Sell was issued. I don't think he was fibbing, he seemed honestly excited and wanting the order to go smoothly. But his name ain't Henry and he isn't a direct descendant so things go as they will.
Thanks Epic....hard thing about my wait is I've been truck-less after my 2011 was totaled in March. Didn't want to buy another just to turn around and sell or trade. I've been borrowing trucks to back my boat down the ramp all summer!!! Just the little things I'm missing. Can't just throw the bikes in the bed and go ride at the cool green belt park with my girls. I wanted to buy a carpet at Lowes....had to hang it out the window of my Focus....LOL.
Really sounds like Ford is dealing with a glut of orders that were there for months and trying to catch up and at the same time work out the bugs in production.
Well just got email from my salesman and got a new build date and dilivery date sucks . I went from 9-6 build to 10-10 build and delivery 10-31 . I guess I'm with everyone else now . Just waiting and reading
ETIS is showing my truck was built on Tuesday the 6th and I am looking at ETA to the dealer next week.... I'm not holding my breath for obvious reasons.
