Well, unfortunately for me this whole thing took an unexpected turn. My dealer's rep finally got back three days ago and told me my dually was probably 2 months out - no explanation beyond that.
The dealer I ordered from gave me a heck of a deal on yet another 2016, in light of all the problems I had. So now I have purchased a single rear wheel, crew cab 4x4 diesel Super Duty, in King Ranch trim, with every option.
Not what I wanted, but its the nicest of this generation Super Duty I've owned.
So best of luck for now to all of you guys either already owning or still waiting on the new Super Duty. I just couldn't wait anymore. I'll still be hanging around the 2017 section and will try to be helpful if I know the answers to any of the questions posted.
Sorry to hear...temporarily..... What color KR did you go with?

Whatever color they had on the lot, lol. Its a Bronze Fire w/ Caribou accent trim. I'm pretty certain I like this color better than the Ruby Red I was going to end up with on the 2017. Black interior w/ Mesa instead of the lighter color.
So I just got word of my build date. 9/27 which is right inline with the build week of 9/26 that was scheduled two weeks ago. My dealer says the order priority is 01. When I asked how it got to an 01 when it was originally scheduled as 12, he said because I've been calling him so much he put a call into his Ford rep and they bumped up the priority. I'm thinking, "Whaaaaaat? Awesome." Then I asked him if my priority could get bumped by someone else calling more than me and he said, "No, no. You're my highest call volume. By a lot." Then I'm thinking, "Oh Yeah."
We'll see if the date gets rescheduled. I'm properly braced for it.

Did you find out an ETA? I got my Build day on Monday and then Tuesday I went into ford chat and found out my ETA.

No ETA yet. Build date is just 3 1/2 weeks away so I'll keep checking. One thing, dealer reminded me that Ford will not schedule a build date unless they have inventory to build it with. That's probably true when not in launch mode because we've seen build dates rescheduled multiple times. Maybe Ford is seeing progress. With every week inventory problems are being sorted and confidence in scheduling should soon be restored. I'm looking for reports that all the early orders are being built and the line speed is up to 400 vehicles a day.
Quick pic outside the shop where I store my landscaping equipment. I had 35x12x18 BFG All Terrain T/A KO2 tires installed, they fit great and give the truck a much more aggressive look.
I like the colors. Don't think I've seen that combo elsewhere. It's funny though how we've become so tuned to the 2017 body style that this now looks dated. How does that happen? It's a gorgeous truck.

You're absolutely right. It's very nice, but it feels dated. We have a 2016 F150 in the family, and even though it's not as fancy, it feels more modern. But I'm still enjoying the new "old" truck for now, lol.
Got a call earlier today from my dealer.... My 17 F350 is built and on it's way now. Just got that information confirmed with Chat! Call on Tuesday for an exact arrival date.
HouseMouse. We are getting the same info and dates. Good luck and hopfully we will Both be driving our F350 trucks soon.
Although I'm elated to say that it's finally on it's way, I feel for the rest who are still waiting. I ordered this the third week of May and it's pretty much a basic tow vehicle. With no lavish items. A decent Lariat with all the heavy duty do-dads.
First build date was 9/6. Dealer told me on 9/2 its in production. Window sticker showed up today. All of the blocks at the very top of the window sticker are empty but one. Above RAMP is an R. Anybody know what that means?

New here with a concern I haven't seen anyone else mention so I'm a bit worried. I ordered a '17 F250 Caribou Lariat, 8' bed, crew cab, almost all options. Yesterday I got the dealer code and order number so I can track myself on the ford order tracker. I was thrilled to log in and see a delivery date (10/08) and a VIN number assigned. The order is in "In Order Processing" status.
The concern: The "Vehicle Summary" reports a vehicle nothing at all like what I ordered. It's reporting a Ruby Red F150 with a 5.5 ft bed and V6 engine ... not even same ballpark.
Dealer is closed today so I'm calling tomorrow, just curious, anyone else get incorrect Vehicle Summary info while the order is early on in the process ... I'm hoping the order data just hasn't been fully entered into the system yet.

In Cotus? If so, the dealer used the same order number for your truck, as was used for the F-150...I had the same thing happen. Chat will see and communicate the difference for you.
