Build Progress - VIN's and build dates

I am going to throw out my status and thoughts, let's see what sticks.
Ordered on 6/22. Initially the dealer ordered it as retail but then did another order as dealer stock and cancelled the retail.
I received a VIN on 6/30 and a sticker around 8/10.
I check ETIS at least once a day . My dealer did not know about ETIS so I showed him.
He uses the dealerconnection website and the status reports come from a vehiclevisibility page on that site:
As of now there is no updates or anything. What tools should my dealer be using (ie. what ones are yours using?)?
Does anyone have any clues from the status report above?

Truck is built, shipped and in California.
I have been furiously tracking the train car shipment for the last 3 days or so. Norfolk Southern from KY to Kansas City. Then it was on Union Pacific. Has made it to the Mira Loma facility in CA. Now have to wait for it to be put on a truck and driven up here. My dealer says we are at the end of the route for the truck so they will ensure the truck is full before leaving.
More waiting, but not too much more!

I had to do it. I just could not resist. Talked to Tia at Chat and I only lost 1 week on ETA. Last week it was 3 weeks so I guess this is progress. Maybe I should cancel and order a 2018!! I bet it would be here sooner. WTF is going on at Louisville Truck Plant? I am extremely annoyed with this performance. 7 December ETA now. New thread should be ETA Gate. And I thought they had eliminated the turbo lag.

Chat would never give me a build date either, but the dealer did. I just talked to Chat too and they gave me ETA of October 23. Ordered on August 20th.

Well I'm back to square 1. I changed my order and the dealership submitted a brand new order. Internet sales kid left the order change request on his desk for over a week. Finally got it confirmed last Saturday and now I don't have a VIN or ETA according to chat. 
IDK why they could not have changed my current order that had not been picked up by Ford?

You might be better off in the end. Ford is building the last orders in and ignoring the ones which have been sitting there since April. It is becoming and wait and watch others being built and shipped with no end in sight. You might want to make sure your new order is for stock since the retail market seems to be of no use to Ford.

My priority is 10 and I think that is retail. I really don't want to go to the dealership again because every time I do it seems like a pain in the ***. I don't need delivery on the truck unit 11/14 at the earliest because of financing. I wait but before I at least had a VIN and ETA with the old order. anyway I'll wait!!!!

This is the thing that takes the fun out of buying a new car. Some dealership are just a pain in the ***. They act like they are doing you a favor and seem bugged when you have questions or show some excitement. Dealers like this give all the others a bad rap. I know Frantz is quick to defend sales people but this is a common tale where the paradigm between buyer and seller couldn't be more different. They should be required to go to a "Remember what it was like to buy your first car?" class every year just to keep from getting all impressed with themselves.

So, got on chat today and Bruce told me my truck is "Awaiting Shipment with no ETA" Last week my dealer told me the ETA was Oct 25th. Hoping that stays true. Im sure it is up in the air since it is coming convoy. need full trucks to get them out here.

Thanks. If anyone is looking for an extra set of 18'' wheels with new tires, I'll be selling the factory ones for $600 for the set of 4 after upfitting completed.
