My scheduled build date/ build week is 8-29 with an eta to dealer of 9-12. So I get on the chat and they tell me 9-22. I've never put much faith in the chat but I wanted to know if anyone else has came across the same problem? The wait is a killer once you have a date in mind!
I ordered mine last week. Dealer told me it has been accepted and processing. Ordering a 2017 f450 platinum. Can't wait!!! I guess I'll ask the admins to see if I can change my name to juniorf450 once I get it lol!
Troverman your a wealth of information. You should hire on at ford customers service lol . Thanks I wondered the same thing. I should just start calling you instead of Mike at ford chat
I would second this.
BTW I have chatted with Mike almost on a daily basis asking him the same question hoping for e different answer. I wonder if they recognize us and think here is this guy again.

I bet they do . I hate to put my dates on here because someone will be hating on me but I will . Ordered 7-16 got vin 8-12 got build date of 9-6 . Dealer called today and said date is still a go so will see . I still have no window sticker or anything from etis . Hopefully Monday or Tuesday it will start to show up . Then the real fun waiting on delivery. F350 ccs swd 4/4 lariat ultimate with all the goodies
I won't hate. But I think this proves that opening the order banks on 4/15 and for those of us (like me) that rushed in and ordered in April... that did absolutely jack for us. That's a fact.
Ordered 7/6
Vin 8/4 61019
Build date 9/6
350 lariat drw loaded
I hate the waiting as much as anyone. After delivery, we will all forget about the wait and enjoy.

I'm with you on that. I rushed to get order in and finally got it in 4/18 and now have a build date of 10/3. I can't figure out how they decide on who to schedule.
I'll admit I've got a friend that helped with my order and I didn't ask for it . He's a 30 year friend of mine and I would of done the same for him if I were in his place . That being said your right it doesn't seem it helped anyone who ordered the higher end trucks but I haven't seen but a very few people get any trucks so it might still work out for those that did .
Ha, took that picture when I first saw it on the lot. I can get a few better ones on here tonight. Now I'll anxiously be waiting for the Amp retractable runningboards to start shipping. Couldn't get the Ford ones without the ultimate package..... It's a big step without em.

I believe its the crome package or heavy front end that caused you not to get ford factory electric running boards
