Well box from Tony showed up this last Saturday by way of the Fedex truck.
The rain was not being nice around here and I gave up and put the tarp up
and strapped it to the back of the truck so I would work under the hood.
The only thing I really had to change was the passenger side ground. I had
to add a but of wire to the ground cable. and attached the harness to it with a
nice clean bolt with str lock washers and covered that with mastic coated heat-shrink.
So it will stay nice and clean and dry. Other than that the biggest issue was
finding places to easy to work with places to put the ballast boxes and the
relay box. It helps to have some 6mm J-nut clips on hand and a bolt to go with
it the truck has a lot of unused clip holes that come in handy for this project.
I would say it only took about an hr not counting all the find nuts and bolts along
with picking out places to mount things.
When I rent to remove the passenger side headlight I found a 10mm wrench I
lost a while back wedged in between the lamp and header.. nice having tools back
that have gone MIA. The only thing left I have to do it adjustment of the low
bean cutoff on the wall.
What kind of projector was retro-fitted into the low beam location?
What kind of Xenon bulb/ignitor/ballast are you using?
It looks clean...factory clean!!

I can say I really like them. Here are some photos and the one of the light all lit up
was done with a little exposure control so it was not all washed out.
I was out late the other night and got a good look on a wall and see
that I will need to do a little rotational adjustment of the projector.
The two cutoff lines are not lining up that well. But it's not that much.
I just happen to be picky. I should of done it at the install but with the
wrecked truck taking up so much driveway space I can't get a good shot
at the garage door to align on.
The driveway is level but off to the side in the gravel not so much.
Yahiko those retro fits look perfect, thank you for posting pics of the cut-off. I have to get a pair of these for my '07, are these available still or was it a one time run for the '03-'07 model F250/F350?
Tony to align the right and left cutoff lines did read correctly you just have to
remove the lamps and use a large screwdriver blade to move the projector?
I got a chance to light up a wall the other night and could see that there is a little
bit off level between the two.
