Well after crunching the other truck that has nice brite headlights
I ordered a set from Tony today. Thexe should be very nice and brite
from what everyone is showing in there photos.
Well box from Tony showed up this last Saturday by way of the Fedex truck.
The rain was not being nice around here and I gave up and put the tarp up
and strapped it to the back of the truck so I would work under the hood.
The only thing I really had to change was the passenger side ground. I had
to add a but of wire to the ground cable. and attached the harness to it with a
nice clean bolt with str lock washers and covered that with mastic coated heat-shrink.
So it will stay nice and clean and dry. Other than that the biggest issue was
finding places to easy to work with places to put the ballast boxes and the
relay box. It helps to have some 6mm J-nut clips on hand and a bolt to go with
it the truck has a lot of unused clip holes that come in handy for this project.
I would say it only took about an hr not counting all the find nuts and bolts along
with picking out places to mount things.
When I rent to remove the passenger side headlight I found a 10mm wrench I
lost a while back wedged in between the lamp and header.. nice having tools back
that have gone MIA. The only thing left I have to do it adjustment of the low
bean cutoff on the wall.
