Yup, m me when your ready to go. For a few buck more I can do these on new housings. Not worth the effort shipping back and forth.
Will they be A/M or Ford housings. I had the A/M ones on my truck and the black started to peel off on the inside and the housings started to get spider cracking. I broke down and dropped the coin on the OEM lights, so to me it may be worth it.

AM. If you have spare housings then no worries. Let's do it!

I think it has more to do with how you take care of them. I have had 2 sets of OEM lights and both have had issues. My latest pair, which I did the Harley mod to, has faint cracking all over the surfaces. You can't feel them when you run a finger nail over them, but you can see them.
The truck is well taken care of, I use a plastic polish on the lenses a few times a year, truck spends its life in a garage even in the summer, so I'm not sure what more I can do to take care of it.

Wow, sounds like they lived a short life. I usually wax my headlights 2-3 times are year to keep them protected.

Yeah that is a bummer. Makes me think of the emblems and how they fade so bad you can't read them at all.
I'm going to replace my fender badges this winter because the black lettering has peeled off. Its really a shame, but it beats spending 70k to replace it I suppose.
