Thanks Jose, looks good for sure I'm still on the hunt for the Weld super single wheels too.

Ok back to the build, I finally installed a used kitty cat on the Mule.
I used one from a 6.doh! I had a clogged one at work that I was going to use in the last 6.doh at work, (yes thats right the POS is still in the fleet) after unclogging it I decided to keep it, and when I remove the 6.dohs kitty Ill do the same as this one if not just punch it out. So obviously the 6.doh's kitty is big as well ( its almost 8" round and 12" long) so the stock location these trucks kitty originally was, wasnt going to cut it, so instead of using that location the muffler shop suggested installing it where the old muffler was at, so I gave them the OK.

1. My first impression after the install the fluttering noise a straight piped 7.3 makes is gone +1,

2. For some reason im spooling quicker right at 1600 RPM im making 5lbs (mind I have stock injectors, HPOP, and im using SD fuel system as well as the GTP38 SD turbo with the .84 exhaust housing, 3"to 4" exhaust and an 5x5 SPX wheel plus what ever im missing should be on my sig) OH! 33" tires with 3.55 +1.

3. The exaust tone at WOT actually sounds decent not loud but audible with windows rolled down +1

4. In cab drone is gone and can actually enjoy the sound of the turbo as it spools up and unwinds on decel +1

5. Egts empty stayed about the same, give or take 25° +-0

6. And the reason all this craziness started THE SMELLY EXHAUST!!! you get to a point in your life that something in your truck bothers you and for me it was the exhaust smell, I know Im going to get flamed for saying this but a straight pipe 7.3 exhaust smell is disgusting I don't know how some of you teenage punks like it LOL...... So after I got her exhaust nice and hot she smelled like heaven hmmmmmm lol... Creepy. Smelled like burned marshmallows the smell is very tollerable, just think of a 6.4 in regen mode.

IMO it was well worth, will I recommend it, well........ It depends to "WHO" I havent towed anything yet but judging how cool the 6.doh's EGT run stock Im pretty sure it will be more efficient than the stocker OBS one. If you tow flip a coin if you run empty most of the time, want a quiter exhaust but not too quiet like a muffler and want a less stinky exhaust I would strongly recommend it 100% I bet if I put my stage 1's and t500 back on Im sure EGT's will stay the same as my current set up but with a hell of alot more PAWA!!!

Here's the only pic I took of it installed, my phone ran out of memory.

looks like the cats pajamas with it there!

Did you ever check injector armature clearance? Those with it too tight have complained about the smell too since it retards timing and not burning off all the fuel

I shimmed these stock 90cc injectors when I installed them they are less smelly than my stage 1's. But still stunk like all pre emmision diesel engine.

Cant get a brake, I installed the extreme camber/caster bushings and none of the aligment shops couldn't get it aligned. I took it home and tried messing with it myself but aperantly 2" of front lift is way too much for these old 2wd trucks, the caster/camber bushings were not even maxed out when my steering knuckles were hitting the I beam and the bolt holding the bushings in place were hitting the caliper as well.

So what now??? I like how it looks, but no way im bringing her back down. I already researched lift kits but are to $$ for my taste and the ones I saw are only 3" and up in lift and I don't want that much lift. I might end up mocking up some templates and see if I can fabricate some I beam pivot brackets and radius brackets just got to do the math first.

If any one attempted this before some pointers would be great.

Thinking out loud here.

You may have to go higher than 2" to get the proper support at the cross member. A weld or two could be all that is needed. I think the rear part(?) Where it attaches to the frame would be easy to fab up a little lower, or make a new one.

That would be sweet, but just like the lift kit for my truck it would be $$ finding a donor truck with 4x4 will ne task of its own around these parts.

You gotta get drop mount brackets or bend the beams to get alignment.

That's the plan, as soon as I can go to the junk yard and get me some spare radius arm and I beam pivot brackets to start mocking up a design.

Havent updated this so here it is whats been done so far.

I had to remove 1/2" from the 2" coil spacer to get it align, even at that it is just barely in spec and the knuckle is just 1/16" of the pivot arm so very close to hitting and binding. Truck still looks about the same minus the the positve camber, rides better too now that it's align.

Installe a new windshield, added a 37 gal aux fuel tank with a manual hand pump saved me a few $$$ when going to California, filled here in my hometown @ $2.78 all 100 gallons lol.... Glad I did because fuel over in Cali was @ 4.56+ ouch... The bad part was that I only got 9.5 MPG heading over there with a 2500lb tandem open trailer (head winds from my house all the way to cali) ironically I got 12.5 MPG comming back hauling an 06 Cadillac CTS in the trailer (no winds)

Over all truck performed great, the only problem was a blown fuel line at a rest area from my electric fuel pump, it was my fault as I forgot to tighten down the clamp, oops... Plan on going on a short drive this weekend with the fam as I didn't take them to Cali, it was business trip so no wife or kids and they threaten me I had to take them out somewhere to compensate for that trip lol........

Just for ****ts heres a pic of my two new pups and the G ride on the side of the Rio Grande

Some soulless ******* left 3 puppies in the back road from my house (all desert) My wife and I took them home and adopted them, one unfortunately died of parvo even though we vaccinated them 1 weak prior his passing. These two pups Oreo and Cinnamon are now 3 months old and part of the family. No clue on what breed they are but resemble German shepard/labrador mix?

They are good pups, this is our first dogs as a family, I had a pit that had to be put down, he killed anything that went into my property and also suffered from arthritis. I also have a cat thats been with us from day 1 of me and my wife moved in together.
The river only has water from May thru September its dried year round, and not as green like in the picture, but once they close the dam and the river emptys theres certain honey holes where me and my bro go hand fishing, we once caught a cat fish that weigh 40lbs, that thing was massive. It's nice when theres water.
