The "Mule" Build

Hopefully in 2 weeks I've been busy as hell at work maintaining trucks and equipment, I'm doing a tranny on a 2000 f250 5.4 tomorrow and I'm booked till Saturday with trucks coming in for service, it's all good tho I'm having fun while doing it lol...
It was easier than I thought, took me 10 minutes wrestling it around by myself and finally came out.
Started washing the engine bay, was not as nasty from last time the engine came out 400K ago.
The triple Disc TC I installed almost 2 years ago.
Hopefully when all is said and done I should have the engine installed by Tuesday, and hopefully running.
More updates to come ...
Your're super close it'll be done in not time!
Water pump out my old engine, and no visible cracks or cavitation.
Taking out my T-500
Fuel bowl out and look at the mess
Had to extend the EBPS wires as i used the super duty EBPS bracket and line also had to use the SD oil pressure switch as the obs has a different thread pattern so I jihad to solder the pig tail for that sensor
Soldered and heat shrinked.
T500 in its new home
Water pump on
Ran into a small problem with the OBS Water in fuel sensor so I improvise and thanlfully theres two 30 torx screws with the same thread as the WIF sensor this is the plug from the SD on the OBS fuel bowl
And heres the WIF sensor
Harnes installed
Heat wrapped headers
Tapped the new manifold fo my EGT probe
Everything is bolted on just need to connect the harness, and grounds. Next is the electronic pump.
Which fuel line is the return and the supply?
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
The bracket for the fuel was made out of TPO metal sheets courtesy of the shop scrap pile, so the inner part of the metal has a coat of soft TPO membrane while the back side is a 24 gauge sheet metal.
Still need to wrap the wiring going into the cab, I did a manual ON/OFF switch, for testing purposes, still need oil pressure switch and a relay, but we got fuel to the fuel bowl
I'll post some pictures and a small video, once the turbo pedestal arrives so Ivan install the new turbo and start mocking up the down pipe
Had a little problem with the tranny cooler lines I installed a pipe to bypass the radiator since it wasn't installed yet and had a large oil leak from the turbo pedestal, one of the O rings fell out. That turbo didn't budge so I had to bang the fire wall, all chats needed is to modify the down pipe, I have the flange and looks like my down pipe will work by just welding the flange to it.
