Man I am liking those wheels!! I like the whole truck, but that wheel/tire combo turned out mean brotha.
Right? It's exactly the look I was looking for, would of preferred OG Welds Super Singles but these wheels did the trick for me specially the center caps man, never been a fan of exposed nuts (no pun intended). The beauty is the wheels sit flushed to the body, no sticking out and more importantly not "BRO" truck look.
Im satisfied how it turned out
Nah, those Stonecrushers are badass. I had a hard time telling what they were as they had that awful paint on them!
Oven cleaner will eat the rest of an Alcoa's clear coat off too.
Thanks guy's.
Yeah the wheels looked like mierda de perro with that horrible black paint, wheels do look good on my truck, they have the perfect offset IMO.
The truck I took the wheels off from was a rolled over 90's CCLB Chevy and they looked ugly on that truck, had 265 75 on them very old tires, the wheels were sticking out the truck like one of those old Mexican chero trucks just nasty looking. On the Mule though ay cabron they fit like a glove.
Updating this thread.
The truck has been performing flawlessly, no problems so far and she does what she's asked to do with out problems.
I pampered her by buying the Diesel site plastic fan design for our era trucks, reason for "re inventing the wheel" is that the fan on my truck had the edges so worn down that they are literally as thin as shaving blades, the fan also is heavy and I'm sure it's robbing some power so I said chinge su madre, and ordered it.
First impression is the fan looks well build, looks identical the OEM 6.0 fan, literally unless my pinche ojos are lying but we shall see once it's installed, hopefully it doesn't take out another radiator like the 6.0 fan did.
New Diesel site fan
6.0 fan that took out 2 radiators on top of Diesel site one you can see the Crack where it broke when it took out my rad.
15k pound load, all the power in the world no traction on take off on hills,
Chalino air freshner can't get anymore Mexican than that.
Looking GOOD brah!! The Monte sounds like a mean cruiser. On another note, the bullet holes had me laughing. I also recognize those mountains in the background. I miss the dez these days.
That Monte will be a great family cruiser for sure!! I fully support that!
Thank you man. Truck has come a long way for sure. The Monte is getting there slowly but getting there. And with the new to me 00 f250 cclb 4x4 7.3 it's been biting some of that time, it's been a busy few months but progress is showing. I have a thread in the SD showing all the stuff I've been doing to the Stupid duty as well if interested in seeing it.
Oh, very kool. I'll check that out!! I have trimmed my heard a bit. I sold the 2wd cc multicolor truck. I just needed less distractions and more focus. I was being divided and conquered lol
