One good thing about winter...the Earth becomes a beer cooler
You guys wont be waiting a while even though it was -1 this morning lol, i will be grinding off the show towers, dropping the axle, removing the hangers and shackle, and the remainder of the X-brace so that i can install the Ex tank all at the same time as the dash. I am going to try and get something done every night on the chilly nights it will be a dash thing i can do inside and on the scorching 20ish degree nights i will do frame work lol.
The Expy really doesn't like the cold cranked it for 4 seconds this morning usually its only 1ish the 250 never skipped a beat no matter how cold...until my dad killed the battery plowing one lol.
Well so far we only have maybe 3-4inches but it is still coming down.
Usually if 3-4 inches sticks pretty good around here you know we are doing good. LOL
For some reason even if it is in the 20s snow doesn't like to stick very long.

We've been getting the arctic chill with a bunch of below zero nights. Snowfall has been pretty mild this year. We have maybe 6" on the ground right now and less than 30" total for the winter. We have had a lot more sleet and freezing rain this year though.
Bora Bora is sounding really nice right about now....
I ground off the rivets for the passenger rear shackle and shock mount however I still need to punch out the rivets still. Any suggestions on this other than a punch and hammer? The front hangers will be removed last because those rivets hold the crossmember in as well which means I need to get a few grade 8 bolts to replace them.
You could get any type readily available. Just check the reviews first and make are you get Teflon tape and a quick connect for the air hose. The don't usually come with the tool.
I was checking out those diamondback covers and they look sweet I want one now lol and I like how they have the extender to Carly two at a if needed on short beds. I think it would look badass as well following the bumpers with the rugged look.
