Limited slip in the snow would be the problem. You might understeer through a corner. You'd probably be better getting a full locker and only locking one hub which will allow you to have good traction until you need it then full traction. But if you're sticking to the road you can probably get away with just a rear locker or high quality LS. If you always have at least the two rear wheels hooking up you don't really use 4wd as often
Out of the different type of lockers what's better air or electric? I will be mainly on the street with occasional off roading but nothing crazy which is why i was thinking a good LS.
Is that the same as the trutrac i am looking at or a different version? It just detroit trutrac on the website lol it works off the helical gear system correct?
Thanks man good to see you have a bumper now lol. I am planning on getting the fusion bumper or the rest of my parts i need to finish the rear end like the gooseneck hitch, airbags, and brake lines before i can POR it amd fix the bed then reinstall it.

Yeah, I'm starting to collect parts for my build in the spring and I want to go with the Charcoal grey bumpers with a silver body and silver front pad so if I decide to get the Road armor Stealth for the rear,I want the front to match. Looks like yours is getting there!!
Nice man, yeah she is coming along..slowly but surely lol now that the focus, f150, and expedition are fixed lol. The focus is going to need brakes now come spring... lol. I finally have time to work on her though so I am going to try and crank while i can lol. Next is to knock the drive shaft off and remove the axle!
I guess I might get banned from this thread now that I am not rocking a SD. LOL
Glad to see the super duty is moving along in the wallet spending side. HAHA

BF Goodrich TA Kos are great mud, snow and all around tires. But for snow I would also ay goodyear wrangler duratracs. Those are my recommendations. As you have probably heard me say before don't get General Grabber AT2s they are the worse tire on the market in my opinion.

I have heard alot of good things about the Goodyear Duratraks, i'm hoping to get a set in about 2 weeks, i'll let you know how they work in the colorado snow.
