Ok so I went back to test my perdels again per your instructions tugly & I noticed that I do not have a "Cylinder 1 Change Rotational Velocity" in my AE. I have 2-8 but do not see one for cylinder 1. Am I missing something?

I see the same thing when im plugged in with 94-97 trucks...
No reading from perdels anyway on obs's but dunno why an e99 would be the same.

That's the other thing I noticed, I tried twice yesterday to do the test with the7 that I had & I could not get any readings. Everything just sat at 0.

Engine Oil Temperature must be at least 150 degrees F, or you get zeros.

Yup, my engine oil temp was 176 at the time. My other issue I noticed is after recording a session with ICP, IPR, Injector pulse width, Voltage, & RPM I could only playback the data from the 9 live data tabs. Could not get anything to play back off the graph screen.

Sheesh... you're cursed. One thing I can think of (outside a wonky AE issue) is time. If you recorded an hour of data and played it back, it would take a while to play back (there is a speed control slider at the top of the playback screen). Another possibility is really high maximums, that make the graph lines so low that you can not see them. I don't think any of this is the issue... I think you may need to re-install the software and enter your Enhanced code again.
You can grab one of the CSV files floating around the thread to see if those play back any better.
As for your CCT reading zeros, a bad idle-confirmation switch can do this.

I've been following your class pretty close tugly so ya I made sure to adjust all my min's & max's, adjust the play back slider & only recorded about 3 min's of data. One thing that throws a flag now though is I never received any kind of code that I had to punch in anywhere when I installed AE. Am I missing something?
Nope.
Your not missing anything...
The new black boxes have the security jazz built in.
Now for your connection issues...
I have run into the same thing when dealing with the obs's...
Pull the obd black box from truck... pull usb cable from it to kill power...
Shut down ae... restart ae... then plug in the dongle to truck first... then usb.

We may be on to something here. You need to activate your Ford Enhanced bundle (with a the provided code), or many of the sensors you're looking for won't work.

Seems to clear up the glitch for me...
I've had this happen to me, but in my case - it couldn't even find the truck to make the connection.
I did not have to enter any code when i istalled...
The activation screen on mine shows all yellow as well... but i have had full communication with every ford/lincoln i have plugged into. No talky to crystler at all. So again... im tinking the new versions come with the adapter itself hard coded. Or maybe it was on the installation and happened automatically?
I have the security dongle on my version and I had to enter the code on the carputer. That screenshot I have is from my other laptop - for reading saved data logs.
Ya I have already been into the feature activation screen & I have 2 options active, the enhanced ford & one other. Can't remember which one it is. I'll try hooking it up the way u recomend Christof, if that don't work guess I'll try uninstalling & reinstall & see what happens.
Subscribe, I just got an AE. What is the "dongle"? Version 11.1. I am haveing trouble gaining info from most sensors. Not to hijack but in need of assistance.
