Sat 19th at Heavy Metal Household.. I said I was 90% sure I could make it, turns out I need to help a friend with a car show at Galot Motorsports park in Benson that same day. But the show should be over and done around 3 so I think I can still ride out to James' place. I'll bring my 66 Mustang since Bob & Josh have asked. But I do have to work that night so I won't be getting lit or staying too late!

I haven't been around lately with family matters but we're still planning on hosting this dinner on the 19th.

November Dinner Details:

When: Saturday November 19th

Where: The Heavy Metal Household - Directions will be given but the general area is near 50/42 Garner.

Time: Anytime after noon is fine with dinner planned around 5.

Family and friends are welcome. I'm sure my wife would appreciate some female company so bring your wives and girlfriends.

We will provide a large chunk of meat. Most likely pork BBQ. Folks can bring sides and desserts. We'll have a cooler to keep your beverages cold but it's BYOB.

For the kids we have a basketball goal and soccer ball, football, and enough grass to run around. For the adults we have a BB gun range and may light some stuff on fire in the burn pit. Mostly I plan to tend the grill and chill out.

We will have tarps and pop ups if needed. You will need to bring some bag chairs if you have them.

Looking forward to having everyone over. Should be a good time.

Guys have room for 1 more maybe 2 if my wife wants to come along. We have a foster dog & 3 of our own fur kids she may want to stay home with but will see.

Anyway how many show up to this so I can bring enough a side dish.
Oh I am right around the corner 50 & 210, wife food shops up your way at 42/50. Will PM the address so I know where the fun is?

Thanks

Hey Dave!
Family's always welcomed to our get togethers, friends too, as long as everybody behaves
Our dinners can be a small as just a couple of us, or it could easily be over a dozen.

Everyone is welcome Dave. Please do bring your wife. My wife will be there and will need some female support so she won't have to listen to us drone on and on about transfer cases and steering boxes.

I'm expecting a pretty decent crowd. Festivities start at noon with dinner planned around 4:30-5:00. Come anytime.

We'll be providing BBQ pork but will have grill space for whatever else anyone wants to bring. Someone can start a side dish list so yall don't double up. We'll provide coolers and ice but it's byob.

There are some folks coming early and staying all day and some coming just for dinner.

I have tools and stuff if anyone needs/wants to do some repairs.

Hope to see as many of yall as possible. I'll post an address next week.

Right now there are about 25-30 folks planning to show up at some point during the day.

Josh, Bring Mary. She and Kim can talk about school/teaching. Should have a decent female turnout.

I will talk to the wife tonight as I have not even told her I was going. I will try and get her to come. I have dragged her to some of my car show & drag race weekends and after the first one she was in because of the other wife's and girlfriends.

once wife and I talk I will know what side and post it up.
Just need an address when you can.
thanks
Dave G .

Talked to the wife and she said if you guys and wives /GF are anything like the AMC people she has met at my car outings she is in.
She enjoys talking to them about what us guys do to our cars & trucks.

As for the side dish going to bring home made potato salad (non-egg as some like to add egg I dont) my moms recipe.

Counting off the days.

Shari and I are still planning on coming out. I may even kick Ka'Bluey in the butt and drive him out there.
Hope to see most of our bunch, and some new members out there. I was the "New Guy" not too long ago, but y'all took me in, violated me a few times, shared some secret handshakes, poked me with a needle, then we crossed swards.......... Ok, never mind.
Beer frame!

Y'all behave
