I thought the food was good. I really liked the homemade pickles! The burger was on the small side and the place was a bit pricey. The menu was a bit misleading, as it said 10.50 for all burgers, the waiter said it comes with fries, but then the fries were an extra 2.50 charge. Throw in a tip (which he added on due to their being 6 of us) and a drink, which I'll have to say my ginger ale was really good, but you get the idea. It's a interesting place to visit but not one to eat at every week.
still all said and done, the company was good as always. This group always keeps the laughs going and it's another one in the books.
It sounds like everyone in the group would be in for taco's for one of these dinners, at some point.
*****, sorry you couldn't make it, hopefully next month.
Sorry you couldn't make it WP. We missed you. Bob certainly needed your support last night.
As for not getting a truck downtown, we got Josh's, Dustin's, Bob's and my truck in the parking deck no problem. And our trucks aren't what I would consider compact.
Bob did survive but barely. After almost dying of thirst he about fell out from starvation after his meal. Kept mumbling something about tacos.
I'll agree with Josh that the food was good albeit on the small portion side. I had water with my hamburger-salad and fries and it was 13$ with the tip. Definitely not in the same league as bad daddy's, burger fi, or five guys. It was good, just pricey for what you get and a little stuffy atmosphere. I'm pretty sure they breathed a sigh of relief when we left.
Hopefully John had his snack and they found the ark.
Another good time with friends. Doesn't matter where. Just that we gather. On to the next one.
Yeah I'm not big on going downtown anywhere really. I know there are good places to eat but my truck isn't exactly city friendly. I did try a new BBQ joint down in Benson though over the weekend. Part of a BP gas station called "Redneck BBQ Lab". Had a some burnt ends, ribs & a sandwich. Was really good but seating is limited and place was packed BC it's brand new.
Yeah thats at the hwy 210 exit where I live, I've been seeing it every day when I pass but haven't tried it yet. It sounds like I may want to give it a try (y)
Travis I went there today for lunch (Redneck Lab), I figured it wouldn't be a problem at 12:30 on a Wednesday but it was still packed, no seats open, so I ordered mine to go and took it home to eat. Was very good, I just got the pulled pork and was happy with it. I might try the ribs next time. Did you get the burnt ends?
Ok fellers. Shari will be in Minnesota the week of Feb 6th through the 10th to train for that new job. So I'd really rather be here so Tim and I can have dinner when he gets home around 8 pm.
So that week is out for me. But, if it's better for the group, then go ahead and we'll get together another time.
So whatever is better for the group!

Yes and they were awesome! How about Buffalo Brothers in Garner? Never been there.
On a side note, has anyone been to a bar called "The Junction" or "Junction" in Benson? Apparently they have line dancing there some nights. My wife is looking for a good line dancing place one or two nights a week. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!
Travis that Redneck Lab has annoyed the crap out of me over the last week. After I went there and got my lunch to go, I told my wife and she said "why didn't you wait for me?". So I told her no problem, we'd go there for dinner on Friday after work. Got there at 5:50pm and he had the closed sign on the door, even though the place was full. Told me he had run out of meat! No pork no ribs no chicken no turkey, nothing. So we said ok, try again tomorrow. Went back on Saturday at 5:30 and same thing, totally sold out. He was flipping the sign from open to closed as we pulled in. I know having a place so good that you run out of food is something a lot of places would wish for, but annoys me and I'm about to say screw it and stop giving him chances to feed me! lol
James those places sound good to me, I'm easy, but I'll toss my vote in for Mexican. All that talk about tacos at our last dinner has me in the mood for it.
