Wow, Boy did we have a good idea back in 2012. Glad you have kept up with them all. To think this all started when James and I missed each other at Bill's in Wilson. I know I have met and made some real good friends and enjoyed some of the best BBQ the State has to offer. 4 years already and I hope many more to come.

 

Since we started at the beginning of 2012 and this is the end of 2016 we just completed our fifth season of cue.

Amen brother. Good friends. Good food. It's been a great experience. Here's to a very BBQ'y 2017.

Another great meal with friends. Glad everyone that could make it did! And welcome Travis to the group.

 

Good crowd last night. Glad to see everyone and meet Travis. Company and stories were much better than the food in my opinion. The food wasn't bad. It just wasn't all that good either. Just my opinion.

Really nice to see everyone and to meet Travis. Welcome to the Q crew! The brisket was very good in my opinion, after putting some sweet BBQ sauce on it. I really enjoyed Sherry's black eyed peas too

 

Agreed James, I think they went a little overboard on the liquid smoke, over powered all of the meats flavor. At any given time there were at least 3 different conversations all ending with laughter, That's what the dinners were all about to begin with. Good friends taking the time out of our hectic lives and breaking bread together.
Travis, welcome to the N.C. Chapter and we are glad you joined in. I wish I could say I remembered your name but, that would be untrue. Lol. Real nice truck by the way.
talk was given on the next Spring Fling but I think we should at least wait until Jan. 1rst before a thread is started, I mean it is still next year. I know, I'm ready too.
Bob, we missed you brother. They had Bob sized portions. But the smoke was way to heavy, you wouldn't have liked it.
