Certainly folks can show up any time during the day. But planning on an early dinner.

We can light stuff on fire in the burn pit.

BB guns are welcome and encouraged.

If not we'll try again in December and just do a regular week night local dinner.
I'm pretty sure I/we can pull that off, as long as you and Kim are "Sure" you want us all at you house
If there are any side items that we need, let me/us know and I'll make it or get it!

We are well equipped to handle all you knuckle heads. Heck Kim has to deal with me every day.

Hope a lot of folks can make it.

Anyone is welcome to show up early and help tend the grill or keep a chair warm.

If we get enough interest we'll make it official and I'll post details.

Sounds like a good time. I will see if I can convince Mary, so we can at least stop by for a couple of hours. She's not very out going, but since Kim is a teacher as well, as long as she doesn't mind talking a bit about school, Mary may come. I'll talk with her.

I gave it a lot of thought.
I'm still bummed out over the truck letting me down.
No way I could carry everything I would "normally" bring for a Fling in the Taurus.
If I took the Ranger I wouldn't be able to walk after that long of a trip...
I'll see ya'll at the Spring Fling...

Well, it appears we have next month's dinner entertainment lined up.

I'll make sure to have plenty of beer. Josh, make sure you have plenty of film.
Bob, we'll let you talk to the police when they arrive.

So I reckon we need to make this official before anyone backs out.

And Josh, I think Kim would enjoy some female company during the dinner.

Cool, I truthfully got to talk to the Police yesterday. Kind of a different story.
Sign me up for a desert for November's dinner. Probably my Gooey Butter Cake. And maybe I can get Shari to come out too.

I do understand, but you can't blame a guy for trying.

November Dinner Details:

When: Saturday November 19th

Where: The Heavy Metal Household - Directions will be given but the general area is near 50/42 Garner.

Time: Anytime after noon is fine with dinner planned around 5.

Family and friends are welcome. I'm sure my wife would appreciate some female company so bring your wives and girlfriends.

We will provide a large chunk of meat. Most likely pork BBQ. Folks can bring sides and desserts. We'll have a cooler to keep your beverages cold but it's BYOB.

For the kids we have a basketball goal and soccer ball, football, and enough grass to run around. For the adults we have a BB gun range and may light some stuff on fire in the burn pit. Mostly I plan to tend the grill and chill out.

We will have tarps and pop ups if needed. You will need to bring some bag chairs if you have them.

Apparently Matt will be providing the entertainment for the evening.

Looking forward to having everyone over. Should be a good time.
