Side Garage vs natural lighting. a HUGE difference. This web site also really changes the quality of pictures. Far better on other forums I post on. Quite frustrating really.
In regards to the lights in your shop that are playing tricks with colours, what type of lights are you running?
8' Fluorescent in back area. Same in main shop but they are 96% Natural Color (special order) Because I take a lot of photo's in shop. Hoping to upgrade to LED's eventually when the $$ allow.
Back room was not intended for doing work but storage only. Seems I do at least 50% of work there now especially when I need the 4 post hoist. Simply not enough room to do what I need to do and still have room for tools and equipment

Thanks! Good to know. Who did you use for Upholstery?
Did you ever have the carpet for gas tank made up? Still need to do that on this truck.
I bought the TMI seat covers, which it looks like you did, too, if I'm seeing a tag right. They seem pretty good and made in the USA. So far I have not sourced the carpet, just got a sample from SMS in Canby, OR.
I noticed the other day if you buy foams from Legendary Auto Interiors they are now reselling the ACI brand. The old owner at the Bel-Kirk Mustang shop said to me that the ACI foams are the only ones that fit right. Not sure if that's true or not, but they are nice buns!
The truck shape is as old as I am (my birth year), but knowing the work you put into it - a showroom truck of any year could never be what you've accomplished.
Much respect for your commitment, determination, and attention to detail.

Thanks a bunch!
video: Hoping for longer test drives today once I get the vacuum pump installed and the brake and turn lights working
I'll be curious to seat how well the color holds up on your TMI upholstery....I used the TMI parchment covers on the seats in my '66 daily driver. The areas where my legs and back touch the most have faded considerably. The passenger seat still looks pretty good because it doesn't get much use. I've had them about 3 yrs.
Your truck looks beautiful!!!
