Thein showed me his electrolysis set up. I may give it a try - this one is a good candidate.

I've been having some fun with all the Sears variations. Seems like a good use for a new/old 220. Wonder what the CCF guys will say.

Not sure what they'd say, but it might have term "Franken" in there somewhere.

I doubt that there were any Sears lanterns produced with globes from China, either.

From a distance, though, it sure looks the part!

Indeed Pop, a tasteful Frankie, IMO. The biggest complaint I have about that site is all the pics need to be resized, even my poor cell phone pics.

Missy said 'Pasadena' on my suggested display spot.

Where can I get a genuine bail for my '65 220 ? I'm using a piece of scrap fence wire I found iirc at an old campsite on the north rim of Grand Canyon. I found a globe for it at a real hardware store in Monticello, UT, creaky wooden floors and everything. Thanks.

Got the lantern off that auction site - and it was not installed. Hm. That would be great. It's not a show stopper, but it would work better.

Sean, any tips on re painting a green 220 fount?.

fixing up a 228F/E for my best friend and the fount paint is hammered, but the worst part is the pump bore is rusty.

going to get a wheel cylinder hone tomorrow and see if i can hone some of it out. if i can i might paint it.

just not sure how well paint will turn out for me, most all my projects are in rust stage as color

hey Tedster9 post up a picture of your lantern! we like pictures!
