not exactly coleman lantern.... but it is gas pressure!
1950's ish gasoline blowtorch made by clayton lampert. its about 95% brass.....
i dont have a good picture of it but i do have a picture of it running which you dont see too ofton. got it tore apart right now for cleaning and polishing. i also got a set of soldering irons for it too i need to pick up from a friend.
so i bought a lantern from a member on another forum.... about 2 weeks later i get it in the mail..... smashed, the globe was packed in another box with the lantern and it was turned to bits.
fast forward to today, i got tired of looking at a bent lantern on my desk so i got to straitening the burner cage with a little brute force.
then i took the whole thing apart and gave all the tranished brass a nice vinegar bath followed up with some 0000 steel wool and mothers mag and aluminum polish.
put the whole mess back together and lit it up! its been running for the last 3 hours out on the porch with no apparent problems
ill get one as soon as i can pop.... works been in the crapper again. cleaning and polishing with stuff i have in stock already is free and passes time while i do side jobs and hopefully get a phone call for a union apprenticeship.
next up for fixing up is a Coleman 275A "aka a turd" and a "Frankie" lantern i built up.... its a smash up of a Coleman 200A and a Coleman 220.
