Hi there, thank you for the quick response to my post, can I ask you to elaborate on what you meant by using the quarter? Yes the needle and seat were replaced together and no there is no grit or crud, the thing looked brand new when I was done cleaning it. I'm not sure about the fuel pump but what do you mean about using a quarter as my gauge? So the fuel should be a quarters (25 cent piece) height below the machined part of the carb after taking the top part off? Am I understanding you correctly?

Good morning, I see you're on line. In reference to our conversation about the vacuum advance on my 1968 F100, 360, straight shift with the Autolite 2100 carb, I didn't mention two things, First is that it has two vacuum hoses. One goes to the carb the other to the intake manifold. We discussed the carb hose but not the other. What is your advice on it? Also, does the dash pot on the carb make a hill of beans difference? When I installed the new carb, I left it off. Thanks in advance for your input!

When I was born they gave me my first bath with Black Hawk County water. How long have you lived there?

Hi, you asked some questions on my 78 F250. Is it alright if you recheck my post? Ive made some adjustments making it easier to figure the problem. If theres anything you could help with, it'd be appreciated.
