finally got around to cleaning up the 275A a week or two ago.... i bought it about 5 months ago for 5 bucks!
little rubbing compound and wax for the paint on the tank, and some 0000 steel wool and some mothers mag and aluminum polish on everything else (except the vent!).
and yes its proudly displayed on the bent to hell tailgate on my f250 lol
and no i dont got a money shot, not sure why but i have had it burning 2 times now and it burnt me once! (my fault)
the only boo boo on my part is i got into the on off tag with the wool.....took the black paint right off....so i finished it off and made it shine.... only thing left to do on the turd is put a new globe on it.... the one on there now is broken but useable.
a frankenturd eh? nice! i don't remember if posted pictures of my 200A/220E on here... its a Frankie i mashed together with traded parts from thien. needs a globe and vent re coated to bee 100% but it does run.
i got a January 1928 427 quicklite i am itching to get cleaned up, it needs a new Genny and mica. the frame needs a good soak and scrub in some vinegar or maybe citric acid if i ever get around to buying some.
hmm what else Coleman is going on.... OH YEAH picked up a 1974? 200A and a 228F both with glass for 20 bucks at the swapmeet a few weeks back. i all ready have the models, so im thinking of fixing them up and building a wooden carry case to haul the 2 lanterns and my 3 burner stove and other camping stuff in a quick grab truck camping setup...
i really need to buy a table saw for all these wooden boxes i keep dreaming up to build haha
So that's why you asked about the next GTG? You need to show those to SOMEBODY, and where better to show them than somewhere everybody will appreciate them, like at Thien's.
